Up before sunrise so that we can go snorkeling on our friend's boat.

Hoping that as the day progresses the water gets calming instead of rougher but usually just the opposite happens.

Our new kayak lights arrived yesterday to replace our old crappy ones that didn't work half the time so we may go for a night paddle if we aren't too fried from being out on the ocean today.

Somewhere between playing out on the water I also need to get Foxy's Friday updates done and Pamela is also wants to bring over some more movies for me to edit.

Working at home today, nothing new planned just the usual. TGIF :)

Morning. tgif! Not sure what I have on tap today. All I know is I hope the sun comes out and I can go for some happy hour drinks by the beach. I think I'll go to the beach regardless but it will just be a change of place depending on how the weather is.

I didn't even realize it was Friday, until I saw the thread. The days just blur together.

Setting up a new scene in Carrara to render, first time I'm building one, last one I did I brought over mid-way from Poser. It has soooo many presets to play with, I'm trying not to get overwhelmed with the oooooh shiny mentality and not get any work done.

Other than that, the usual porn and staying indoors out of the heat.

I'm guessing Cleo is at the beach, because that live cam the waves look pretty calm right now. Sometimes, I really miss the ocean.

Good Friday guys! I'm just plugging away at work at the moment. Might go see a movie tonight. I think Bad Teacher is out.

Nope just getting back in from a fabulous time out on the reefs. We let the boat drift and hung onto ropes attached to it. The only bitch is I may have toasted yet another underwater camera but at least I got a lot of footage before it messed up. Going to leave the camera in a dry box for a few days and if it still isn't working correctly send it in for repair since I really like this one.

try a bowl of uncooked rice - sometimes that'll pick up the moisture.

Well, not sure how they did it, but, got my passport today (7 days) - one day after the contract that required it fell through. ugh.

Well, at least I have it.

I've also heard that about rice although I'm not sure if that is better than the Peli Desiccant Silica Gel container that I keep in a tupperware container and then place anything that I want to get the moister out of in the container.

I don't think the camera actually leaked. I think it's more a case of moister buildup inside the case from handling the battery and flash card.

I have the container sitting with the camera in it in the back yard out in the sun. Maybe I should add some rice to the container too.

Sorry to hear that your contract fell through but it's always good to have a passport anyway.

Not everyone just happens to have that lying around. More people have rice laying around. I think I could probably get about 30-40 of those desiccant packets from hard drives that we've ordered... haha

I guess I'm not most people. :D

We have the disposable packets of desiccant for use in our waterproof cases and then that big metal container of desiccant that can be heated and reused for drying out electronics like cameras, phones and whatever else gets moister in it despite our best efforts to keep everything dry.
