It's put on street clothes Saturday 062511
One of my doctors came in this morning and said that I needed to be walking around before I could be discharged. I pointed out to him that I couldn't walk around due to having a catheter, IV, heart monitor and oxygen sensor hooked up to me so he said that it was ok to remove everything so I did and put on my clothes and began walking around. My nurse freaked out and called the head nurse who also freaked out. Seems I was supposed to wait for my nurse to remove everything. They seemed really shocked that I new how to remove a catheter and thought that I had yanked it out still inflated. Guess they didn't realize that I'm an impatient patient that that knows how to use Google.
So sitting here waiting for the my surgeon to actually so up and discharge me so that I can go home. Ok, everyone click their ruby slippers and repeat over and over again there's no place like home. |
Cleo, did they do another surgery, is that postponed, or was that yesterday? and was it successful? I just got up and haven't read any old threads to find out the results.
Hello everyone. Still working on my new AVS site, Have a few more pics to render then can finish up the design. Then I have to build banners and tgps then submit it and wait for acceptance. That is my day planned. Have a good one and take care Cleo! |

Morning. Glad to hear the operation for successful. I've walked the dog and gotten some coffee. I passed out early last night. Going to work on learning some new code stuff today and doing some tutorials.
Also going to build a couple blogs. At some point I'll probably have a couple beers some place. |
Good Morning :)
Wife is out of town again so stayed up too late working trying to catch up on stuff. Will spend the whole weekend doing this with a portion of it watching TV at the same time. Cleo, It's nice to hear the surgery was successful. Hopefully there will be no more pain. |
Good morning world |waves|
At least it was when I first stopped by the board, then I remembered I had to make a run to the grocery store since I was out of, well, everything, but mostly coffee to get the day started right. All errands done for the day so now it's time to get back to work. Newsletter to get out today and then will dedicate some time to relaxing since I haven't done much of that this week. Cleo - glad to hear the surgery went well and they're letting you go home. I know you're missing more than just your 30" monitor. Wishing a good weekend to all. :) |
Good news Cleo, hope this solves your pain issues.

So glad the surgery was successful Cleo, hope you heal up quickly and that leg is pain free.

Afternoon Everyone |waves|
I had to go to the ER this morning. I've been getting pimples all over my body the last few weeks & last night, a cluster of them basically took over my leg, inflaming my right calf to the point where it's hard to walk. Turns out I have Cellulitis So the pumped me full of antibiotics, gave me a script & sent me home to rest :D Of course, this means I'm WAY behind on work for today, so I'll be here..... |

Spent all night last night working on a script that was estimated at 'a few hours' - to wake up and find yet another bug. Hope everyone has a good weekend. |

Damn, it seems Greenie and Cleo are having a poor health competition

I wonder if Greenie's health providers are as fucked up as mine. Christy just ran over to pickup my three prescriptions that were supposed to have been called in. Naturally they weren't so she just left again to bring the scripts to them. One of the scripts is an injectable and naturally they forget to also give me a script for syringes. Luckily I have 4 boxes of syringes left over from something that I was taking a few years ago. |
