TGIF and the first day of a new month 070111
 

Time is flying by and a frightening pace this year. Seems like just yesterday it was the middle of winter.

Doing FoxyAngel's updates this morning and then I get to go over to my doctor's today and have my finger pricked to see if I'm taking enough rat poison each morning. After updates and the doctor that just going to spend another mundane day of trying to get caught up in work.

Still haven't made it back to the gym and really feeling the affects of not going. Probably won't make it today due to having way too much to do today and not enough hours in the day to do everything but at least I'm not going due to leg issues as it seems to be staying fixed this time.

I'm getting a bit worried about PamelaDoll as she is once again MIA. She left her computer, cameras and a bunch of other things at our house before I went into the hospital and no one has heard from her since. Hopefully it's just another case of talent being flaky.

I like this show that just started showing here.

I agree that this year is going by too quickly. I'm excited for the holiday weekend, though. Should be nice.

Well been busy busy this morning. Trying to get through a ton of shit before I go to the beach here in an hour or so.

I'll do the errands on the way home from the beach. It's nice out and I've been talking to some of the people coming in town and just can't wait to be having some good food, bunch of drinks, and hanging out all weekend. :)

That is just our electrical grid going down "due to stormy weather conditions."

LOL, the electric pole accross the street from the office got a lightning strike yesterday and caught fire...off goes the power at our office (we only have about a half hr battery backups on our systems.

So I leave Boca Raton and head home to Coconut Creek to do our nightly orders from home...get the forex out but there goes the cable at home before I get to the futures.

So I switch over to att U_verse back-up and start doing them, when that goes down...

So I figure with my laptop go to the office again as I had left my att wireless card with my little lenovo there...take the sim out of the laptop and put it in my pc card modem and do the orders wirelessly.

I get back to the office and FPL just finished getting our power up so I figure I'll use the cable connection there, but that is still down at the office too...but I reset the DSL router backup there and bang I'm online for the 5 minutes to get the orders out...lmao

Wow. That sounds like quite the afternoon mother fucking nature adventure. I'd be shaking my fist at the sky in anger and frustration. That and I'd probably be driving far to fast in anger. I've gotten better with road rage. However, it still comes out. I think it helps once I sold the sports car. Was too easy to light the tires before. Now my acura sedan doesn't have the same muscle.

Just got done finishing up an application that uses odbc to interface with UPS worldship application. Pretty rad program. |thumb

I just simply pull out my generator, flip the main to disconnect from the grid, plug my generator into the dryer outlet and start it. Once on the generator I've pretty much got everything except centra air but I do have a one room A/C as long as I don't try to heat hot water at the same time.
