Back To Work July 5th

I have to admit, while it was nice to take off a couple of days from the computer, I did miss it :)

But it's back to work for me today - and boy, did shit pile up while I was gone |banghead|

Wow I'm behind in work!

Went to a really fucking boring party yesterday. Finally told everyone that I wasn't feeling well and left but the truth was I was mostly just really bored although these blood thinners are really kicking my ass making me feel like all I want to do is lay around doing nothing.

Watched five episodes of Season 3 of True Blood yesterday after leaving the party early which was far more entertaining than the party.

Just going to plant my ass in front of the computer today trying to get somewhat caught up.

I had a pretty awesome weekend. Well, Thursday-Monday. Didn't get a chance to see many fireworks though, which is disappointing.

Anyway, time to get back to work!

I finally feel like working again today, and wouldn't ya know it a server upgrade has halted that.

FYI, the newest WP version requires a higher version of PHP & Mysql. They got my PHP upgraded no problem, but can't seem to get their head wrapped around Mysql so I have a shitload of sites not in operation at the moment |cry|

I have today off (day job) which is nice. I have to contact the dealer and drop off my car again. After that its more work and another movie. Love the $5 movie Tuesdays.

Morning all.

Took my cat Oreo in to be shaved this morning. She was fine picking her up until she saw I was going to put her in the cat carrier and she turned into a snarling scratching ball of fury. Fortunately, I had a long sleeved shirt on, and only got my wrist scratched to hell. Had to get Jim up from sleep to hold the door open, and he got tagged to on the hand.

So warned the groomer about the problems getting her in the carrier, and when she called to say she was ready I asked how she was and her reply was "very angry." You could not pay me enough money to go through that.

Watched fireworks again last night. Kinda nice that a hotel put them on one night, and the town another, and then a 3rd night of our neighbors shooting them off. |thumb

Now I'm just submitting my first free site and getting rolling. Have a good one all! |waves|

It looks like I won't be upgrading my WP installs anytime soon :)

Good afternoon everyone.
I had to take day off today for court, I had 2 points taken from 4 total for speed and $189 from $490, lucky me prosecutor had a good day, so that took me like almost half of the day. Tomorrow back to regular work, summer time is always busy and I just don't have the time to keep up with online stuff, I'm just happy that my stuff is somehow automated, and in case of emergency I have email system set up to notify me of every action on my sites :)

My server is ready to go now, but I think I'm gonna wait a bit until the bugs are worked out of the new one. Although....maybe I'll install it on a new domain I just got for testing purposes.

Upgraded my WP Multi Site install today without any issues.

Glad to hear that Cleo. I've been reading their forum, and seems a lot of others are having issues with it.

I have nightly backups of its database and all its site files are also backed up to a local Mac so I don't really fear anything going wrong as that would just mean spending a little more time restoring everything.

I actually have one other install of WP but it's the mainstream one that I've done nothing with except make a theme for it.

Admin is prettier after the latest update.

Didn't need to hear that since it looks like I won't be doing an update at all now. |cry|
