Got up and sunrise to trim the palms in our front yard. Both Christy and I thought we were going to pass out from the stifling humidity and heat but at least now the view from our front door cam isn't blocked by overgrown palms.

I haven't been outside yet, but it's looking dreary like rain. I guess I'll be sitting on my ass inside working today.

It's been in the 90's here for the past week or so, but last night it really cooled off nicely, and will be like this for a few days. I finally have the windows open again and the AC off.

But come Sunday or Monday it's supposed to hit high temps again. Funn thing, as a kid I loved summers that came with lots of hot sunny days, the more the better. But now all I want is the window shut and the AC on when it gets that hot.

Getting old here, or maybe it's just that as a kid I couldn't afford AC? ha

I haven't been using my AC, which is probably why I feel absolutely terrible. It's so hot. : (

Still in the South of France. I just got news that my granddad past away. We knew he didn't have long anymore but these things always come kind of unexpected. The funeral is on Tuesday, we should be home by then.

Another shorter workday, cuz of that damn heat wave. I think I drank 2 gallons of water |loony| and I didn't go to do #1 yet.

I was unable to comment on the humidity until after lunch. It is humid out. Back into the Air Conditioned office for me.

OMG! It's the middle of July & it's actually HOT outside!?!?!?! |crazy|

Well, Nose Surgery Part 1 went very well. For those that may not remember, the Cliff's Notes version is that I fucked up my nose by using too much nasal spray back in February, to the point where I may need 3 surgeries to correct it. #1 was to go in & scrape some tubes that became inflamed. #2 will be to correct a deviated septum. #3 (optional) will be to fix the 1/4 in hole I have going from one side to the other :D

The best part of today is that I'm in no pain at all! (or course, I was tempted to complain about pain in order to get some meds :D)

The worst part of today was that I spent 8 hours in the hospital for a 45 minute surgery |angry|

Go home, ate, played a little GTA4 & now, seeing as I slept most of the downtime at the hospital, work until the wee hours of the morning.

Cool on the surgery.

Wow, too much nasal spray can fuck you up severe, I did not know that.

Any special kind?

With me, it was Affrin. But I'm told pretty much any nasal spray will do this if overused.
