You need to just use the token not the whole URL.

Use just this part of the video url that you posted.

I have a question. How does one enable video in a message board? Is it something the owner of the site can enable, or can one bypass it?

It has to be enabled in the control panel of the board. The one that I enabled on this board is a very simple one that just wraps the YouTube embed code around the posted token.

I was asking because the client didn't want to enable it. The software used is VBoard. Do all versions enable video or are there cheaper versions that has basic features and no video embedding functions?

I only know about vBulletin as I found the code to do it in the vBulletin owner's lounge.

Different boards have different ways apparently!

I know that the zoo requires you to put the entire embed code between the tags!
