How to use Google AdWords

I would like to try to market our sites with google, however the google explanation of Adwords is numbing me.

Does anyone here have helpful links explaining about Google Adwords?

Any help is appreciated friends!

Best of luck figuring Adwords out! One of my clients told me that it worked great but hell if I know how to get it set up for my sites!

Someone must know, but I guess whoever does keeps it to themselves ;)

I use Adwords a lot - get it right and you can do quite nicely (and get it wrong and you can easily lose money)

There is a book called GoogleCash that teaches you how to make the best out of Adwords. I must admit that I haven't bought it myself, but it looks ideal for someone new to Adwords.

We bought some a couple of time and it seems either you really pay attention to the keywords you select and you convert 1/50 but only get a few dozen clicks a day, either you widen your selection of keyword and you receive a shit load of traffic doing not much.

Aiming right in the middle seems quite difficult.

thats an awful high ratio for adwords for targetted ads...
I made a sponsor laugh out loud one day when I called to complain that my ratio had dropped to 1:18 and what the hell had they done to the tour :)

she still laughs about it when I talk with her
