ive got a burning throat, in the bottom of my throat its one fire,

benn like this for a couple of days on and off,

any doctors in the house?

I'm no doctor but I've tried to play one with a few coeds in my time. That being sad, have you heard of Acid Reflux? It's when acid from your stomach comes up into your throat. Guess what? It burns.

I get it from time to time and there are over the conter drugs that work just fine but actually Guiness works quite well also. It can be caused by ulcers so be careful.

I'm serious about the Guiness as it's truly the best ant-acid I've found.

Acid Reflux usually is an indication that you are like 1/3rd of the world's population that has a Hiatal Hernia. It is a congenital condition where the opening in your diaphram that your esophagus passes through is larger than optimum. This opening actually acts as a valve for the top of your stomach. If it is too large stomach gases and acids can "reflux" back into the esophagus and irritating the nerves to the point that they spasm. It is not uncommon for sufferers of this condition to think they are having a heart attack. There are drugs like Tagamet, Pepcid and Gavascone that can help to reduce it to a managable level in many cases. While in cases like myself I ended up having to have a Nissan Fundoplasty (I think I spelled that correctly) operation to correct mine in order to function normally. In either case, it would be best for you to consult your physician and get evaluated. Again, this condition affects 1/3rd of the world's population but most people live their entire lives without knowing they have it.

p.s. - I'm no doctor either, I merely have had to live with this crap for about 12yrs. :)

You know, I think I have the same symptoms and have had them for about the last 2 months. I figured it was just stress related.

Sounds to me like you may have a touch of hypochondria. :D Drink a glass of wine and sleep on your left side with your right foot in front of your left.
