What would convince you to promote a sex toy store?

This is a follow question about my previous post.
What do you think would convince you to start promoting a sex toy store site?
payouts, tools, etc...

i want to see what webmaster affiliates want and need regarding this...

again...appreciate your answers...

regards

#1 The most important thing I mentioned in your other thread. It is a head and shoulders over any other point.

#2 Assuming you comply with #1, then MAKE THIS CLEAR ON YOUR SALES SITE. Note the question I asked Sarah on her "RE - Howdy" thread. Even though I think Fleshlight sell internationally, their site will make a lot of surfers think they only sell to Spain. So about 90% of traffic sent there is wasted. Assume your surfer is a moron, and make bloody sure he is aware that he can buy your goods.

#3 Good sales technique. If I am sending you traffic on a profit share basis (as opposed to PPC), I expect your site to grab the surfer by the balls and make him want to buy something. I do NOT expect to see a site that is just a catalogue of your goods, I expect it to try and close the sale.

#4 Good product. Although this is a minor concern compared with the first three. A good salesman can sell buckets of shit to a man with uncontrollable diorreah, but a bad salesman could not even sell him a tablet that cures diorreah. The product is important, but less important that the sales spiel on the site.

An Adena to my last post:

Having looked at the program in your sig, I'll add:

#5 A clear link from the aff. prog to the site. You only have a tiny link at the bottom, hidden amongst the legal junk. This makes it look like you are ashamed of your site and don't want me to see it until after I have signed up your aff. prog.

Also: Does "$9.99 Flat Shipping" mean worldwide? If so, you should say so. And if not you should defiantly say so, as I think that as it stands you are now legally obliged to charge no more that $9.99 even if your customer wants something delivered to the North Pole!!!

ecchi is dead on!
Years back my Dad and I ran a sex toy/lingerie shop and I know the markup is incredible. Make a site that sells, maybe even with some clips of the toys in use and you will be doing it differently from anything I've seen, and you will make money. Give me a fair share and I'll help.
