Theme Help??
 

I wasted all this time on this blog today, and now its gone fucked, my video embeds dont show up unless the post is clicked, they showed up before and i didnt change anything. I want to get rid of this broken image that is over every post anyway, but not sure where to get rid of it. This theme is perfect for what i need otherwise:

I don't see any embed code for the movies on the index page.

Thats the problem? Where did they go or how do i get them there? When I previewed the theme it was fine and it didnt have that broken image script thing either. Maybe its not compatible with 3.3 :(

Personally I use Artisteer - Wordpress Theme Generator for all my themes. Can't say enough good things about it.

It must be a theme/wordpress option setting.

You are showing excerpts on the front page with a 'Continue Reading' link - which clicks through to the main post, which has the embedded code.

I checked all the options, didnt see anything relating to that :( Guess I need a new theme, this one was perfect.

that theme says "Post Thumbnails / Excerpts"

So you would need to use an image for that

Ahh shit so embeds with a thumb built in wont work? Let me see if there is a setting, now that i know what i am looking for, it might not be under the theme settings, but under reading or something.

Damn, nothing, anyone know a simple way to code in an override on the exerpt function? Prob not that hard but I am not too sure what to look for.

I find blog code totality perplexing.

Use software that writes blog code while working in WYSIWYG and plug-ins that just need their settings set.

Writing blog code by hand is like trying to write a Word document in code without actually using Word.

I am ok with some of it but this i am baffled i checked a few of the pages and i dont know whats causing it :( i really want to use this theme damn :(

I fixed it with a bit of help had to try a few things, also got rid of another annoying layover thing :) Woohoo!
