It's damn hot and humid out so we turned on our A/C last night so as to feel more like December.

Just a day of work planned until this evening when a bunch of us are going kayaking.

Something to put you in the holiday spirit...

Morning all.

Up after about 5 hours sleep. Ran out of space on my server yesterday. After being on that box for years, I finally outgrew it.

Spent the day deleting content for AVS sites that have no members, notifying people to take down links. I managed to free up about 40GB on the drives to buy me some time.

Unfortunately, moving to my new bigger server means I can't use my existing CMS script, as I don't have the money they want the old owners of the script to pay for their yearly support fee.

I've used Arles by Digital Dutch for years to create the galleries for my TGP's and Free Sites and just found out it supports multi layers / subcateogories so I can use it to create my members areas, and update it with new content relatively easy. |headbang|

It is going to take me some time though to create the members areas, then re-upload 150+ GB of content a site at a time, and delete it off sitedepth while I go so that I don't run out of space again doing it. Just thinking about it makes me tired.

But when I'm done, I'll have two 1TB drives on my box, and 2X the ram for only $50 more a month so I'm pretty happy, and no script I can't move to a new box when I outgrow that one.

That's been my last 24 hours. |loony|

ALMOST time to overeat? I've been practicing all week.

Morning. I'm off to yoga with the lady. Then after that it's home to pack up. Then I'll probably get off to the mall for a couple minutes before heading out.

Have a good one.

Merry Ho Ho Eve Everyone |waves|

My girls are coming over tonight for our Xmas eve surf & turf dinner - we've got some nice steaks, crab legs, scallops (with bacon!) and shrimp - it's a good thing I have football to occupy me until they get here tonight for a late dinner :)

Have a safe & happy holiday everyone!

Good Morning :)

Have to clean the house before a few relatives show up for our BBQ Xmas Eve dinner. Ribs, chicken, sausage, brisket, baked beans, mashed potatos, cole slaw and corn bread. There will be salad and fruit but who really cares about that when I can have BBQ. It's all catered so I just have to do is eat!

Isn't that the truth. At the office people were bringing baked goods and stuff plus customer dropping off candies and more junk every damn day, it was fabulous!

Need to do some work this morn before the cleaning starts. Purchased a heap of new content that has been downloading for the past 36hrs and should be completed by tomorrow eve.

Biz will pick up next year. If you say it enough it just might happen :)

I've been chanting this same mantra.
