Outstanding Balance
 

What are some reasons a sponsor would have an outstanding balance owed to an affiliate? They have my W-9 and my method of payment is set to 'check.' They have paid me in the past without issue. So what else could be the reason?

Have you been paid since they upgraded to NATS 4?

Perhaps. It's been awhile. I went in again and set my payment method to check even though it already said check, but, as in the screenshot above, it still says "Not Yet Set" in the graph. Probably just some little glitch, but I could really use that money, like yesterday.

By the way, I don't think it's anything at all shady. I haven't been actively promoting anything in a long, long time, and have accordingly not bothered to watch for sales. My bad.

I've seen mention across a number of boards about some hit and miss account payout glitches after upgrade to NATS 4.

Account Rep should be able to solve whatever the issue may be IF you can get a hold of one. That has become difficult with far too many programs.

I've heard NATS 4 might show they've paid you but they haven't. I'd contact them.

Totally of topic but I've had really good re-bills from them, gone now :(

I emailed Oscar this weekend. Waiting for a reply. Sponsors tend not to reply to my emails, so I'm not getting my hopes up. |cry|

Well, I've sent him the info via ICQ. He didn't immediately respond, but maybe he'll see it soon and send me a checky-poo. And, of course, no response to Saturday's email.

Got an update! They said that my payment method wasn't selected, so I just wasn't paid. They noticed that I just updated my payment method over the weekend to "check," so I'll get my money the next time they payout, which I guess is on the first of the month. It was already set to check for what I could tell, but I updated it to be sure.

I don't know if they used to pay me by Epassporte before the end of that era or what. You'd think that NATS would simply default to "check" when the payment method you were using disappeared. Of course, you'd also assume that NATS would produce some sort of report telling the program owners that certain affiliates aren't getting paid for no real fault of their own. I'm not angry or anything - I'm the ass who stopped checking stats for many moons - but after all these years, NATS still finds way to annoy me.

One would also think that a program would expedite a payment that is months and months past due, but I guess that would be asking too much. Oh, since they aren't bothering to pay until the 1st, I'll let you know that it's Fetish Wealth.

Oh well, I see I just got an email from Ayesha Gaddafi, allegedly the only daughter of late president Muammar Gaddafi. I should go see what the hell she needs me to do in order to earn my share of that $20 million dollars she's talking about. I'll probably get that faster than all of the missing sponsor checks out there. :D

Always wise to re-check ALL your details when a nats program is upgraded, including little things like your skins and such.

Yay! I found another sponsor who owes me a little over $200. This unpaid balance is due to me never filing a W-9 with them. I love discovering sales and rebills I never knew about. |headbang|

That recently happened to me. No W-9 on file, and they owed me over $3k. And yes they paid up. Yay.

I've been lucky that way too. Any time I've discovered money being held by a forgotten sponsor they've always sent it to me once the hold was removed.

Mostly I've had to wait for the next pay cycle to come around too.

UW - you probably have no worries now, Fetish Wealth has sent me checks for years with no late payments.

Yeah, they used to pay me in the past, back before the downfall of Epass. I also had the W-9 issue with them too. But they always paid. I just wish they paid biweekly, rather than monthly. It's not their fault. I just want my money yesterday. My sales with all sponsors had been sporadic that I never bothered to keep an eye on stats while I was working on my degree. I'm just now taking a look at my dilapidated mini-empire.

Can anyone confirm that Fetish Wealth and Kinky Dollars haven't yet sent affiliate payments? (By check, that is.)

Store brand peanut butter creme cookies. They're basically a cheap alternative to Nutter Butters and you can just barely taste a hint of peanut butter floating on a distant breeze. Perhaps, not a great purchase. I'll get the real ones when these hooligans pay me.

It has always bothered me that certain sponsors do their payouts during some vague several day time period. Pull that shit anywhere else. You can't. The terms may as well read "We'll pay you when we damn well feel like it and you'll be tickled pink when and if you get your check, loser."

I'm just nervous that I'll get skipped over, I'll email them again, and I'll get another "you should be set to get it during the next payout" reply. You know me, I'm a calm, rational, patient guy, but it's utter fucking bullshit that these COCKSUCKERS will acknowledge that they've owed you for MONTHS, but won't sit down and write you a check when you point it out to them.

I've been going through sponsors for the past 2 years looking to see who owes me what.
So far I've been able to collect over $5,000 in unpaid balances.

I am still owed over $5,000K (collectively) from a bunch of different sponsors, who refuse to pay me my money.
You really find out who the scumbags are.

On top of it all, about 5 companies who owed me money for a long time and never paid it have now gone out of business.
So the money I’ll never see again from them is a little over $1,000.

I can't say for sure about Fetish Wealth but I know that Kinky Dollars shows a check sent to me on February 2nd (I don't have it yet but that's what the payments page shows).

I received my Kinky Dollars check that was sent out 1/4/2012.
The next one was sent out for 2/2/2012 and I expect soon.

They passed me over once again. I have an email into them. Hopefully, the folks in the armory will get me fixed up.

EDIT: I just received a reply from support letting me know that I am scheduled for payment and it will be sent very soon. They don't process all of the affiliate payments in a single day.

Fucking Fetish Wealth still hasn't paid me, and now they said it will be another month.

Here's an email reply from January. Previously, my payment method was set to Epassporte. Of course, once Epass curled up and died, that method was removed. Do they simply default you to check? No. You don't get paid and no one bothers to inform you.
Now, after waiting for my check this month, they tell me I'll have to wait until NEXT MONTH because they suddenly don't have my W-9. Funny, I used to get paid by them... Plus, I have used their online W-9 form twice in the last month just to be sure, and it each time I get this response: "This W9 form was previously submitted by you."

What pisses me off the most is Fetish Wealth support's tone of "what am I supposed to do about it?" That's easy - write me a check.

I cannot stand these sponsors who act as if their hands are tied by their system. It's all utter bullshit. If you wanted to take care of me, you'd find a way to pay me NOW.

I'm in ICQ chatting with FW's support guy right now and it seems bloody pointless.

Days like this make me hate this business. I'm trying to decide if I should pull their links and deprive them of the whopping 10 hits per day I send them. They have some great looking sites, and now that I'm back to work in adult and trying to improve my sites, I'd like go get back to promoting them, but this type of nonsense makes it really difficult to do.

I'm looking back at my records now. I have had this same problem with Fetish Wealth in the distant past.
