Thumbnails - question to LLs/DIRs owners
 

Hello everybody

Would love to know which type of thumbnails do you prefer, use, sells better, whatever you have to say on this subject.

Please check this sample gallery with the 3 possible thumbs types and let me know. Think some newbie useful information will come from this thread.

I'd accept all 3, but I tend to use #1 myself.

ditto on what Greenguy said. :)

PS: The first ones are fast and easy to do so that is why I do them that way.

I make mine similar to #1 except I make them 150 on the long side.

I would think more about what the surfer wants...

They want a thimb that is indicative of the picture.. bigger thumbs will save you bandwidth and thumbs that the surfer "has" to click to really see what is in the pic will cost you bandwidth.

That said... #1 or #2 would be my preference
