Last Monday of March 2012
 

Painful start of the day for me. Can't imagine why just about every muscle in my body hurts. All I did was kayak for seven hours and then play volleyball on the beach for a few hours.

Also had fun taking the plumbing apart trying to retrieve Christy’s kayaking glove that was plugging up the drain somewhere between the garage utility sink and the city sewer. After taking everything apart and still not finding the glove we took the one remaining glove and tried different chemicals on it to see what would dissolve it. Gasoline melted it so we poured five gallons of gas down the drain which instantly cleared the drain.

Barely worked all weekend so going to spend today trying to get as much work done as possible.

In my partially caffeinated state my initial thought was "expensive" but then realized it's still far cheaper than a plumber. |thumb

Nice cool night here with a great breeze so I slept in an extra hour or so.
Feeling very rested and ready now, so time to use that energy to get things done.

Had a set-back with my surgery yesterday :( It seems the incision is leaking fluid & possibly infected. I was also in a MASSIVE amount of pain from about noon on. But, I did figure out that 2 pain pills + 2 muscle relaxers + 2 sleeping pills = 4-6 hours of knocked-out sleep.

Going to the surgeon's office at 1:00 to see what's up.

I'm up and drinking some coffee. Already made a couple site changes and posts. Now I've got some new videos being watermarked. Later today I have to really work some tax stuff and get that turned in this week. I also have a meeting that needs to happen with a designer on a new site.

Didn't end up getting to the new season of Mad Men. So that will be on tap for tonight.

So it's going to be a good day of photo editing and porn slinging for today. All while watching some tv shows I need to catch up on. I am going to start with the Apprentice and see where I go from there.

@Cleo, will pouring gas on a semi-backed up toilet dissolve the bar of soap that had slipped into the toilet bowl and into the plumbing?

Still trying to adjust to the one hour less sleep since the daylight savings time thing did it's thing yesterday night. The little one's biorythm is a bit messed up from thjis one hour change. Next Saturday he'll have to undergo a 6 hour change since he's flying with us to NYC. That's gonna be fun :(

Morning all

I was in the extreme pain department yesterday too, had the back/ab cramps from hell. Finally started calming down after I was able to choke down 2 bananas so I think my electrolytes were off, coupled with an odd position I was in on and off all day.

I was wishing for some strong pain meds, but probably would have made it worse since I tend to throw up on almost all narcotics. I really feel for you Greenie, I had 1 flexeril left and it finally kicked in and I was able to sleep too.

Feeling much better today and working on free sites. I hope greenie that you can find out what is going wrong and get it better.

Sorry to hear about the set back Greenie. Sure hoping it is just a little bump in your road to recovery.

Sales and stats suck so bad I hate to look, but like road kill or a traffic accident I have to.

Word I heard was that Greenie was admitted overnight due to the infection.
