MLB Opening Day Thursday (04/05/2012)
 

Good morning.

If you're a baseball fan, you know what day it is. I am looking forward to watching a few Blue Jay games this year but I won't make predictions.

Just doing work today on my new Dell V131 13" laptop (shipped with Ubuntu and without Windows). I was able to take my solid state drive out of my old machine and put it in the new one without a hitch.

I had to Google MLB to find out if what it was. I guess you could say I'm not into watching sports.

Just another not so thrilling day of marketing flesh on the web planned for today and then cooking something with the big container of carrot pulp in our fridge that is leftover from making juice.

We may be buying another kayak.

I think I might be able to release/open the Link List that I've been working on for the last few weeks. I just have to go back & double check that I did everything.

Morning all.

Still dealing with a lot of stress over my son in the hospital and really |banghead| that I'm too broke to go fly over there and talk to the doctors personally and be by his side. His low oxygen saturation levels while he is on oxygen is freaking me out and visions of congestive heart failure are dancing in my head. I'm trying not to wear myself out jumping to conclusions, but, well, its hard.

So besides trying not to worry, I'm going to do some porn today, and hit an AA meeting to talk about the things I have no control over, with a lot of people who can relate to stressing over things they have no control over.

Yah Masters! Aside from watching some golf. I'll be just working away. I have a couple errands I need to run. The lady is out of town right now so I'll be up north later today to hang out and have a beer with someone.

RedCherry, hope things work out. Difficult to be long distance in that situation.

Installed the new WordPress RC last night, 3.4 - not really that much has changed. I just hope they don't roll a bunch of security fixes into it as it does break a few plugins and it is going to take some time for those plugins to get fixed.

Big storms overnight here and the water soaked my Jeep's battery terminals and cables in a way that allowed all the charge to drain out of it. Luckily my neighbor was going to the grocery store this morning too so I stuck a charger on the battery and off I went. Now I'm back and playing catch up with the day.

No sports but will be running some Stewart, Colbert, Gervais, Ferguson and Goldthwait in the background for comic relief while working today.

Good day to everyone out there. It's beautiful here, I just finished mowing the lawn and took a walk through the woods as well. Just another day in paradise. I have to get interviewed for a new job tomorrow so hopefully all goes well.
