Question on galleries in html pages

Hi everybody

After asking, some days ago, I know LLs don't want pictures from galleries opening in new html pages.

But what about making the actual gallery open in a new window?
I think there is no room for abuse in this, since the gallery layout has to be exactly the same.
The fact that it opens in a new window just permits the surfer to keep the tour page open in his monitor so, in the end, his choices are made simpler!

Is this allowed?

Thanks

Bert

I suspect most will say no... no new windows... end of story :)

I know I don't allow that, because there is the potential for abuse.

Back in the day, it was a very common practice of "cheater" webmasters to open a link in a new window & have a meta refresh on the original page, so that when you closed the new window, the page you were on was gone & in it place was a sponsor or some other piece of shit site.

OK, nice input. Just thought it would be easier.

Am stiil struggling with site design, years will pass before I will master the "art" of cheating Lololol

Thanks anyway

Bert

Bert,

for a few extra K you can give them a text link that opens the gallery in a new window as a choice for the surfer... problem solved..:)
