It's the start of another wet one here.

We thought about going kayaking late yesterday when Christy's afternoon client cancelled and then the lighting storms started so we did laundry instead.

Hopefully weather will be nice for this Sunday's BBQ Meetup in Birch State Park that we are planning on riding our bikes to but it isn't looking at all.

The phone spam has gotten out of hand. Yesterday I got around twenty spam callers. I have all the known spam numbers set to a silent ringtone but yesterday I started getting ones from blocked numbers. Thougt about porting my number over to GogleVoice since that offers phone screening but instead I'm trying out YouMail. It lets you send certain numbers, blocked callers and callers with no caller ID to a This Number Has Been Disconnected message. Hopefully this will get my number removed from whatever lists it has ended up on. It also lets you do custom messages for any number so have setup some fun ones for certain friends.

Just another thrilling day of pounding the keyboard planned for today.

One a very sad and tragic note. Strawbella, who was coming into town to shoot for FoxyAngel next week, died Tuesday night after getting silicone injections. She was one of our favorite models and a super nice person and is featured in Foxy's Ebony Tour. :(

I would like to get rid of many nuisance calls but a lot of doctor's offices have "Private Name, Private Number" on the display so I can't go your route Cleo.

Just finished up porting a horrific looking website that my brother inherited on to a new server. It looks like it was made in 1997. I had to fix up, what seemed like, a million errors due to character set problems. Well, it's mostly done now accept for some java rollover problems.

One meeting downtown today and then I am free and clear to work on other things. Maybe I will get out and exercise today.

Sorry about your friend Cleo.

We met up with the owner of our local hydroponics store in the post office, come to find out, he used to be our AT&T installer/repairman that knows all about what we do for a living. He got injured at work and opened the store.

So today we will be meeting up with him to help him with his website which, other than the front page is "under construction". Be nice to make a few hundred helping him out.

I had talked with his Dad last Saturday at the Farmers Market, and when he walked up, I didn't recognize him. He probably didn't want to point out who he was, since we tended to talk about porn whenever he was over and that isn't a conversation one always wants to have in front of their dad. :)

The Bitch & I saw The Avengers last night in 3D at IMAX. I thought it was a good movie, but not the greatest movie of all time. The Bitch gave it a C - she was really looking forward to seeing it & felt a little let down.

I have all my phones on the Do Not Call list, but I've been getting a lot of calls lately. It gives me a small amount of pleasure to report each of them when I do receive a call :)

Cleo - sorry to hear about your friend :(

I only have one number (not counting my GV number that just goes to a black hole) and it is on the do not call list but it seems that the do not call list is just being ignored these day. I report them, maybe that is why I'm now getting calls from blocked calls.

Another day of blog posts, gallery pages, a newsletter and all the usual daily things to do. I'd love to go see the Avengers (or anything really) in 3D on one of those big IMAX screens, but since the nearest one is 123 miles away that's not too likely to happen anytime soon.

I hear you, I'd love to see a movie in a theater, but the closest one for us is 60+ miles away, and with gas prices, I'd rather just wait for it to come out on netflix and watch it at home.

Personally I prefer watching at home. Not only is it way cheaper it can be paused for bathroom and munchy breaks. Plus we have really comfortable couches.

Do you get a lot of legit blocked number calls? We don't, so we called the phone company & they blocked them :) They even give you a 4 digit code to give to your friends that have their number blocked for whatever reason - this way their calls will come thru.

In the last few years I've gotten one legit blocked call from the nurse at my doctor's office because she didn't want people to have her cell number.

AT&T doesn't offer blocked call blocking on cell phones but I did have it from them back when I had a land line.

I'm having fun with YouMail. I've got this greeting for when a neurotic friend calls.

Hello. I just finally got around to the board. In a minute I need to load the car so that tomorrow afternoon I can just hit the road and pick up the lady from work. We are just going to spend a couple days camping in north county right on the beach. Sucks that the weather isn't going to be that great. Oh well. Still going to get to relax away from the computer and do some surfing.

Anyway, time to gather up some more items and then watch a little tv. Still enjoying catching up on Numbers on Netflix. Also, started White Collar. Which is perfect total trash tv for coding and late night viewing as well. Also tiffani amber thiessen is in it and even though her role sucks she is hot. :)
