Just wondering if anyone likes the show deadwood on HBO?

I've been enjoying it... but then I've always like a decent western... Lonesome Dove, is a longtime favorite of mine.

I've been enjoying it too. But I seem to like all HBO series. Most of them anyway :)

I always hated Westerns, but being as its HBO I thought I'd give it a chance. I think its fucking great, emphasis of the "FUCKING."

The only thing they put oin that I didn't like was one of the America Undercover episodes - the Blue Siding one - that was boring.

& only part of that word is banned here :D

Well so far it's not too bad, they've only referred to us as murdering savages a couple of times, tried to pass off a crime onto us *how very typical* and is pretty accurate in showing the rape and pillage of the Black Hills.

As far as HBO series go, in my opinion, and you know i have one..I think they are far superior to what network television is churning out, however they have the advantage of not having to fill timeslots 24/7 with content, like the networks, so they can put more time, energy and $$ into what they broadcast. Also, they are above the FCC restrictions that the networks have to adhere to so it broadens the scope.

What i don't like is now that the Badda Bing show is back, we have these 12 or 13 episodes and won't have new ones until 2006. Like WTF.

I haven't been able to attach to 6ft under.. but i did like Arliss.

I think the entire cast from Law & Order SVU is from OZ.

We got rid of showtime a long time ago, I could never get into their series' - except Jerimiah but that one got really corny after a while.

Deadwood is just another successful notch in HBOs belt in my opinion.

Showtime is getting pretty good as well - The L Word is good stuff, as is the Seymore Butts "Family Business" & Penn & Teller: Bullshit

I love the s******s... Loved OZ (and yes docholly, almost the entire cast is on SUV... or other NBC shows.. (( Cyril is on NYPD Blue right now, tho)) )

I never got into six feet under, or sex in the city, and HATED Arliss and as for Showtime... I kinda liked, Dead like me, on there.... but that is about it.
