I need feedback on this please, a couple of the goals on the brief I set myself were;

Not many adds

Good use of meta tags

Any feed back on the two above points or anything else would be really helpful. I have it listed on a few places though I see getting GG status as a real bonus |newbie|

Aside from there being no recip links, I'd list it :)

I have later been told that as its not an idex.htm or html its no good, can I get a reason for this? I dont mean to be rude there are logical well I think logical reasons for this - ie better PR if thigs is the case.


With regard to page titles I never gave it a second thought, it will now be a feature of anything else I do. Are there reasons for including page titles can they be used to help optimise the site as a whole?

Hey I'm prety new too but I can answer this part "yes".
I'll give you an example I built a free site titled "The best brothels in Tijuana" google has it placed # 8 under brothels and # 3 under Tijuana brothels. Brothels is my number one search engine phrase (32%) and Tijuana Brothels my number two (7%). The key word prase I was going for with that free site was Tijuana Chicago Club, google has it placed #8 under the phrase and search engine hits are less than 2% of my total.

if we are talking page titles in terms of meta tags then I have these in place, are you guys reffering to graphic/Larger text displaying the name of the site on it?

Now this could be the blind leading the blind, but I’ve caught several of Mr MarryLou’s On the Bench chats and I think I got a handle on free sites.
As I understand it most if not all Link Lists want a site title (name).
It’s in your best interest to use keywords in the title and search engines give more relevancy to titles with the

and tags.
