I actually found something useful on Facebook
I make my own sausages and occasionally come up with vegetarian sausage recipes. However these are a bit pointless as most of my recipes require skins and all sausage skins are made of animal intestines (commercially made vegetarian sausages are either skinless or are covered by a nasty chemically made skin that requires major industrial equipment - not duplicable at home). Just checked Facebook after being away for a while and found this:
