Been up since 6 am in order to pack everything for kayaking.

Got everything ready but now we are having a not so lovely windy rain storm.

The cam looks decent for were we are headed. Trying to decide if we should cancel or hope that the weather improves.

This is a working weekend for me, so even though the weather forecast is saying rain storms are coming, it's not going to bother me unless power and Internet goes out.

Storms are over here after 2 days of rain. Our ponds overflowed, but supposed to be sunny, highs in the 70's so just about perfect. |thumb Hopefully the sun dries out the mud between my garden beds enough by tonight so I can pick more Kale.

Rains past us a couple days ago but it got real chilly. Week ago I needed the a/c on and now I am wearing a sweatshirt thinking I need to turn on the heater, wtf.

Working before the baby comes for a visit and then D-land for the night.

Good night. Feeling exhausted. Worked quite a bit today on projects. I'm done. Had planned to see Looper tonight. Lady was out before I was around 9. Going to save my energy as a friend gets in tomorrow for some football watching and then MNF game on Monday. |tddance|

Temps here are close to freezing already. I told Petri that I think we are in for a long cold winter this year. Last year was almost a joke -- as if they didn't want to scare me away from my new home. Conversion on Hot N Dirty is coming along nicely -- only about 900 more sites to approve. I do miss the football over here. We don't seem to get very much of it. I do see that "other" kind of football though, and LOTS of ice hockey. Sigh... looks like my short break time is almost over... back to work for me!
