Another day of waking up wet. Last Friday of October 2012.
 

Slept like crap last night due to an all night show of electrical fireworks that sounded like a giant popcorn machine.

The power lines in our backyard are touching the overgrown trees that are around them and with the rain and wind it was an all night show of electrical fireballs. The air smells like ozone and burning wood.

Called and reported it to the electric company. They said that they would have someone out here in the next 21 days and if a large fire starts I should call 911. |huh

The weather is still too nasty to leave the house today unless I really need to so will probably skip the gym again and just spend the day at home working.

Lots of rain down here too since yesterday. Looks like maybe a little less for today, but I think I'll probably call this an inside day too and save my errands for tomorrow.

For anyone interested in the comments politicians have been making about rape and pregnancy lately, I saw the graphic below this morning and thought I'd share another example of the extreme idiocy that seems to be running rampant in some sectors. And lets not overlook the politician running for office right now who believes that children who disrespect their parents should be put to death as an example to other children.

Thanks for sharing Simon, it's quite sad when you think about it. I can understand if a couple of people had a bad phrasing gaffe (I have occasionally opened mouth and inserted foot) but to have so many speak this way or try to put forth bills, agendas, etc.. is |crazy|

Anyhoo, time to do all my submits before taking a drive and picking up my favorite meatball sandwich. Need to install the surround system so I can watch a movie tonight.

I view every day simply waking up as a good thing!
