Guess What Today Is!!!!!!

It's Thursday |bananna|

Good Morning My 100x100 Friends |waves|

After a day of running around to 3 different doctor appointments yesterday, I'm looking forward to just sitting my fat ass right here for the entire day & working.

OH! I did forget to mention that on Tuesday, The Bitch & I went to see the new Led Zeppelin concert film Celebration Day. It was GREAT! A lot of songs I've never seen or heard them perform live. I've been a HUGE Zeppelin fan since my buddy turned me on to them back in 85 and, while I have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition 2CD + 2 DVD of the movie already, I'm really glad that I got to see it at the movie 1st |thumb

To me, they are the best rock band EVER! Better than Metallica. Better than Nirvana. Better than The Beatles. I can honestly say that I LOVE every song they have ever released (except Hot Dog - ugh)

That's my review of the new Zeppelin movie. I hope you enjoyed it |fonz|

Didn't know that Led Zeppelin was still around. I seem to remember that they were not all that young in the seventies.

Just another thrilling day of planting my fat ass in an office chair and staring at big arrays of liquid crystals.

This concert was from 2007 & I believe they got together as a benefit for the founder of Atlantic Records, who had recently passed. I think Jimmy Page was born in 1942, so he was 65 at the time.

And yes, they do look - and are - old :D

RedCherry 2012-11-15 10:33 AM

Geeze, they are older them Jim, I used to love listening to them. :) Lately, I listen to a lot of new age meditation music when I'm working, otherwise the lyrics start distracting me from writing text.

Morning all. Still waking up with my morning tea, trying to convince myself it is as good as coffee. My sales the first 1/2 of this month have sucked really, really bad. I have got to get them up for the 2nd 1/2!

So nothing but porn and a workout planned for today. Have a good one all.|virgohippy|

HowlingWulf 2012-11-15 10:58 AM

I think I'm going to listen to some Led Zeppelin today on Spotify.

Physical Graffiti may be the best double album EVER!! |headbang|

I must be the only seventies child that doesn't like rock.

Good Morning :)
Just a bunch of work planned today between subs and updating member areas.

I guess that's Page on the right, Daltry second from left. Don't recognize the others, they may not be the originals. I was supposed to go meet Jimmy Page one night at P Diddy's studio, by way of a guitar company rep. Diddy didn't answer his phone, guess they were recording, another brush with celebrity thwarted, that was circa 2000.

Daltry?! You're kidding, right?

The other 2 are Jason Bonham (son of the late John Bonham) and John Paul Jones.

The wife and I went to see Cloud Atlas yesterday - a masterpiece I thought. Really glad I went to see it in the theatre.

Hello. Led Zeppelin fucking ROCKS. I have everything. The one song I've been playing a ton lately is "Achilles Last Stand." By a ton I mean just on repeat while I work. As Greenie stated to me as well they are THE band. I went back awhile ago and ripped all of their stuff at 320k. Going to purchase from that link. Does that have your ref code Greenie? Just want to double check. If not PM me or drop it here.

Just a long day of coding and errands. Blah. Going to code some more. Getting close on this one project for some beta testing. Then I can maybe focus some energy back on some sites.

Wife has another friend that just got into town and they are watching a movie I've already watched. So I guess I'll listen to music and code a little more.

|cheers|
