Burn baby burn... second to last Sunday of November 2012
 

Spent most of yesterday and most of this morning clearing the northeast corner of our property. It's covered in vines, some kind of plant with green and white leaves with rock hard trunks but worst of all everything is covered in Asparagus Ferns which has sharp needle like spikes.

I've been covering it with BBQ lighter fluid and setting it on fire. The flames shoot up about ten feet. The burning part is oddly fun. What isn't fun at all is puling up the roots and having to use a chainsaw to remove the remaining trunks of what is left of the green and white plants.

Going to plant grass once everything is cleared since our yard guy will mow anyplace there is grass growing and keep it clear.

Probably going to hit the gym this afternoon and that is about as far as I've planned for today.

I went to a flea market with the gf and son. We bought a few things for a combined amount of 4.5 euros. Boy we truly were on a shopping spree :)

Other than that I spent some time at the computer and the PS3. In a few hours it's couch time for me. Game Of Thrones, Spartacus: Vengeance and The Walking Dead are on TV :D

Morning all.

Cold/allergies hit me pretty hard yesterday and today. I'm doped up on cold meds submitting galleries, so I blame the meds for any mistakes. |lol|

Hoping to get my galleries submitted, and a few sites built and submitted before they wear off, then probably going to sleep/read/watch a movie/sleep the rest of the day.

@Cleo, good luck with the clearing. I love burning stuff too, we have a big pile of weeds to burn, can't wait. :) Since I was so diligent last year on picking weeds, not as many went to seed, so its not as big as usual though that gets piled up during the summer when there are burn bans on.

Morning. Got up early. However, I stayed in bed and watched an episode of "The Newsroom." Seriously HBO puts out some of the best content. Last night once I was able to handle a little work I got very interested in learning Sublime Text 2. Textmate is really no longer in development. For the most part I'm getting pretty good. Just a couple learning curves on key bindings. That and somethings that are available out of the box on textmate takes installing a little work on finding a package to install. However, the autocomplete in sublime is sublime. ;)

While learning this I'm actually working on running some code through some templates. Nothing like really working in it to getting used to things.

Other than working on things I'm watching the GB vs Detroit game. After that it will be time to see if Chargers have any signs of life against Denver. If Denver wins I think it's pretty safe to say the Chargers season is very close to over. For the rest of the home games I'll spend more time hanging out and cruising around and partying rather than being glued to every single play.
