Our raccoon problem has returned. Woken up by strange noises in the house and this morning I see raccoon prints all over the floor, raccoon shit in the living room (I guess what I thought was cat shit the other day was raccoon shit) and the little monsters dragged stuff from our kitchen out into the back yard.

Guess I need to go by a raccoon trap so that I can catch and release them out in the Everglades, which is oddly not really legal. |huh

Today would be a gym day for me but I probably won't make it since our stripper friend is coming down today and has a bad habit of setting off the alarm if I'm not home. She seems to be keypad impaired.

Lots of work to do today. I may go for a bike ride instead of going to the gym after our usually naked house guest arrives.

So, what's going on with me? My back still hurts from yesterday's Aqua Therapy, I woke up sleeping on my right side instead of my left which means my neck hurts. My mother just asked why the TV wasn't working & I had to explain to her that the cable box actually needs to be ON for it to work. Life is just peachy |thumb

According to our local news radio, it ends at 9:11am - the minute before winter begins. Riviera Maya, Mexico is one hour earlier than EST so the world will end at 10:11am EST tomorrow morning.

Well, here's hoping I'll be able to say that more than one more time. I'm pretty sure that raccoons are not one of the beasts that secure the seven seals of the apocalyptic document, so I'm thinking we'll be okay.

It's one of those days when my list is way longer than the time available, so if the world does end tomorrow morning there are just going to be some things left undone.

Wishing everyone a good day...and probably best not to do anything that you'll regret if the world's still here a day from now.

Since this is the last day of existence I should probably go out and enjoy a drive, pick up a meatball sandwich and sit my fat ass on the couch and chill. On the off chance things don't end I will probably do some work because a day without work is a wasted day!

Cleo, how the hell are racoons getting into your house, pet door?
And once they find a place they like to shit they come back over and over again. I have an area behind my garage on a low nearly flat roof that gets filled with it. I have cleaned it out and have tried different sprays and suck to deter them with no luck.

I tried getting an electronic cat door some years ago where the cats had to have magnets on their collars but the raccoons destroyed the door.

Going to try scaring them off for a few nights and if that doesn't work get a trap.

Somehow I don't think my cats would like that at all.

I'm thinking one of these and giving the raccoon a nice new home in the Everglades.
