Yesterday's weather was about as perfect a day for kayaking as it gets. We went out with a huge group of beginners, paddled with them for about five miles and then four of us split off from the group and paddled a total of 11 miles. The temps were in the high seventies with almost no wind. About the only downside was we ended up paddling against the tide most of the way, but that made for a good workout.
Going to make a blog post about today after I finish my adult work for the day. Speaking of my mainstream blog... My outdoor adventure blog is slowly growing. One of the Meetup groups has linked to my Kayaking blog giving me some nice traffic. Today is looking to be another beautiful day. Too bad I'm stuck indoors working. http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1358776329 |
Cleo - I thought for sure you'd ask me what that strange white stuff on the top of my iPhone weather screen cap was |bighappy|

Good morning, cold here as well. I dislike the cold, a lot! lol

Good Morning :)
I got shrinkage just looking at Greenie's forecast. Thankfully for me our forecast is much like Cleo's except the humidity part which I would not mind since everything I touch right now I get shocked. Sent a bolt of blue at the cats nose yesterday, on accident, when I went to pet him that made him jump back and hiss at me. @Ramster, my chiropractor and his wife are from Haliburton Canada and his wife now gets cold when it gets down below 65F or 18C. I tease her about being from Canada and she always states she will never move back to that. |
Good evening.
Snow and freezy temperatures here too. Did some demolition work today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring ;) Have a good day all! |
-14C / -9F in Toronto tonight. With the wind it will feel like -25C / -13F!
