It's A Phlegm Filled Thursday!

Morning |waves|

Still sick, but I'm not to the point where it's just taken over my fat body. And the gooey wads of phlegm that I'm hacking up on a regular basis are making for a lovely distraction to my smut slinging |pokefun||greenguy|

Just work on the agenda for me today. Other than that, there's only one thing left to say.....

No snot here but my allergies are making my eyes water and making me feel rather miserable. Trying to decide if I should take a Clinton D and feel nasty from that or not take a Clinton D and feel nasty from allergies.

Watched four more episodes of House of Cards yesterday. The show just keeps on getting better with each episode. Only three more episodes to watch. I hear they are shooting another 13 episodes though.

Work, more work and then after working some more going to watch more episodes of House of Cards.

Good morning world |waves|

Sorry to hear you're still sick, Greenie. Just don't let the smut merge with the distraction into some kind of strange Phlegm Porn site.

(Note: no need to for anyone to post links to prove it already exists...I know it does.)

Cleo, I know how you feel. I had my own Day of Watering Eyes (and Snot) last Sunday. Took some allergy medicine and felt terrible all day.

House of Cards looks interesting. Seems it's only available for streaming though. I have the DVD version of Netflix and it's not available that way. Or I should say, only the BBC version it's based on is available on disc.

Question for today's thread: Has anyone seen "Reservoir Cats"? ( A remake of 'Reservoir Dogs' by Quentin Tarantino, with the noticeable difference that all the male characters have been replaced with female ones.) It's not available on Netflix but seems to be available as a torrent download from the official site which has more information about the film.

Just lots of work to get done today, so I'll be at or near my keyboard most of the day. But I'm hoping to knock off early and spend some time getting my dvr below its current 90% full status.

Wishing a phlegm and snot free day to all.

Streaming only at this time. Watch it on your Mac or get an adapter cable for your Mac and hook it to your TV. Or get an AppleTV or one of the many other devices that let you watch Netflix, it's worth it.

Good morning.

A little bummed out today. A friend dropped dead of a heart attack yesterday. Although a smoker and somewhat over weight, he was only 54.

Whoopie, I get to have my teeth cleaned today. After that, I am going to scoot out and doing a few errands as 15-30cm (6-12in) of snow will be coming down over the course of 12 hours.

Hope you're feeling better Greenie.

Have a great day. |thumb

I'm all set for outputting video and audio to my TV from my Mac. The actual problem is that if you have the DVD-only version of Netflix you can't access the streaming content at all. It doesn't even show up when you search for House of Cards. All I see in the search results is the original BBC version.

I've been considering adding a streaming account from Netflix or HuluPlus to replace some of my Comcast programming, but the things I want to watch on HBO, SHO, Max, and Starz. aren't available that way. And since I regularly wind up with a 90% full DVR already I don't need more things I don't have time to watch now. I guess I'll just wait and see if they have that one on DVD eventually.

I just searched for it on my TiVo & it's not on Hulu or Amazon either :( Sounds VERY interesting.

Good Morning :)
Found out last night my father in law is showing up today for a few days. Thankfully he will be doing a bunch of horseback riding with friends so it shouldn't totally screw up my work schedule.

Sorry to hear about your loss Art

Greenguy 2013-02-07 01:07 PM

Oops - yes, Art, sorry for your loss :(

Fonz 2013-02-07 02:58 PM

Snot has been my friend for the last 2 months or so. I'm kind of used to it by now but won't be sad when the weather changes ans my new friend will go on vacation for 10 or more months.

Sorry to hear about your friend art.

He got to the hospital by himself. He doesn't have a partner and died alone. That's very saddening to me. |sad|
