It's the 2nd Monday of February 2013

Still trying to wake up. Would probably help if I actually drank the coffee that I made this morning.

Had a rather boring day yesterday. Got up early to go kayaking, drank a huge cup of strong coffee and then it started raining really hard, got really windy and the temps got down into the sixties. Ended up going to Home Depot to get a hard to find light bulb for the dining room table, going grocery shopping and going to Sports Authority to get a helmet for Christy.

I guess the highlight of the day was trimming nails and wings on our macaws. |yawn|
Natually, since we are both stuck working, the weather is much nicer today. |sun
Just another not very thrilling day of working all day on my adult stuff planned so far.

Wanted a 150 watt one of these to replace the 150 watt one that burned out.

Had to settle for a 100 watt one since no one, including Home Depot, had one. We usually buy light bulbs from Target, Public, Walgreens or any of the other stores but none of them carry that type of light bulb in any wattage.

Good morning! Just another day in the neighborhood.

You do realize that West Palm Beach is an hour drive from where I live while Home Depot is a few minutes from me? |crazy|

We use to buy hard to find light bulbs from Light Bulbs Unlimited but now they are pretty much just selling LED bubs. I'm sure that they would have had something that screwed into the socket for probably around $50 that was a fraction as bright.

Got to love taking over the administration of domains and emails from someone that long gone. |banghead|

I just took over being the administrator for www.lmc123.com |banghead|

Naturally no one knew any of the user names or passwords. Site is hosted by GoDaddy but where it really gets fun is Google is their mail server using their domain. No one knew the admin info for that either. Info for doing this is here. |banghead|

So first I had to reset the password for GoDaddy so that I could login. |banghead|

Then to reset the password I had to log into GoDaddy and create a CNAME record using the token that Google gave me pointing a subdomain of lmc123.com to Google's servers and then login info was sent to my email address. |banghead|

I really miss the days of working a few hours a day doing porn and making 5 figures a month. |banghead|

Good evening.

Did the demolition job today. When I got home I found blackbird strangled in the net I put over my chicken coop. Apparently it was hanging there for over 5 hours (the GF was afraid of it and didn't dare to free it). I cut it loose and the poor bird hopped/flew away.

That's about it for today. Going to watch another episode of Homeland now. Have a good day!
