I got The Bitch a couple of gold dipped roses from I Hate Steven Singer for |loveyou Day. I ordered a red one about a month ago & when I got it last week, I was so impressed that I gave it to her then & there. So, as a surprise, she's getting a 2nd one today delivered to her work. Can you guess the color? :D

Other than that, it's pretty much a normal day. Hi Ho, Hi Ho.....

We are celebrating VDay tomorrow since we both have to work late today. Just planning on having a romantic diner someplace.

Went for a night paddle last night. It wasn't a real long one but oddly I'm a bit sore today.

Work, gym, and more work is my plans so far today. It's looking like it's going to pour rain soon so at least I'll get all the dust washed off my car.

Nothing really special going on around here today either. I did get my wife a day at the spa so she was happy about that. We have theater tickets to see Jeckyll and Hyde musical for tomorrow night so thats our night out.

No plans for this Satanic day either. Just trying to do some online stuff but the new kid certainly needs a lot of attention. But I don't mind that ofcourse :)

No time to waste!

Morning. Happy vday internet lovers. The lady and I are just going to grab a burger at a place. So nice to not really stress about this day. I'll of course get a card though.

I finally feel better. I had been dragging with being a little clogged up and just really tired. So much so that when I was at the dentist the other day on my xrays she mentioned just how plugged up I was. Yesterday it all came out. Was insane. Just hours of watery eyes and my nose just dripping/pouring shit out. It was impressive. A couple times what I can only describe as the consistency of gummi bears coming out. Which the wave of relief in pressure against my eyes. T'Was fucking epic.

I was about to start using the afrin nose spray to get better sleep. I just don't like the kick back down the road once you stop using it. End up paying the piper with that route and since I wasn't full blown sick I wasn't ready to jump aboard that train.

So yea. I feel like in the coming days I can get a lot of work done and then be able to enjoy my little break I have coming soon with my lady.

To help myself sleep at night, I've been douching my nose with a saline mist before I go to bed. Plus, since our bedroom gets very dry in the winter, I spread a little Bacitracin up there to moisten things up while I sleep. So far, so |fonz|

I was doing neti pot. That worked wonders. However, I felt like I was doing it WAY too much. So I got rid of it.

What saline mist you using? Looking up bacitracin here in a sec.

I do better when I'm surfing and in the ocean more. Salt water clears that shit out. I just couldn't go in the past minute because of all the rain. blah.

I just use a Saline Nasal Spray from the local Rite Aid. It's just a plastic squeeze bottle & releases a mist up into your nose & moistens everything up, along with making all your nose goblins move around & come out a little easier.

Bacitracin is the main ingredient in Neosporin. After I had surgery a couple years ago because I used too much Afrin & blew a hole in my septum, the doctor told me to use a little dab of it to coat the inside of my nose when I was healing. And, like I said before, it works GREAT if your house is dry & your nose gets all crusty & bloody while you sleep.

Also, I still use a Neti Pot every now & then, but I was using it 3-4 times a day after the surgery. Just make sure you're using those little saline packets & mixing it with water instead of buying saline to use, since it's MUCH cheaper to make your own.
