OK, what the fuck have I done this time??

Yesterday I noticed that the text in my web browser had got smaller. I first thought that I had accidentally reset the "text size" setting on the browser, I hadn't. This morning I realised that text boxes were also smaller, so I assumed I had changed the screen resolution. Again I hadn't (with the combination of XP and cheap monitor that I have, I am already on the maximum setting).

I have gone through all the settings I can find, but apart from the one for the browser I cannot find any control that allows me to change font size. Does anyone know what I did to fuck up my display, and how to fix it back (I'm using Windows XP)?

Thanks.

Usually as far as I know simple command ctrl + or ctrl - is the control of the size of the browser. Very often ctrl and scroll in your mouse does the same. Hope that helps.

Thanks, yes that did it. And as I tried it I realised what an idiot I am! I don't usually use the Ctrl key to do that, but in the past I have used the drop down menu in the bottom right hand corner of IE which does the same. It did not cross my mind that this might be the problem. Worse, there will have been a little note in the bottom right hand corner of IE, telling me that the browser was set to 75% of normal size, which I totally missed!

Grief, I'm being such a Muppet this weekend that you could paint me green and call me Kermit!

Thanks again for the help.

Yup, definite "ID ten T" error (ID 10 T).

As someone else once said "There has been an operator error, please replace the operator and re-boot."
