Rather be outdoors 2nd Friday of June 2013
 

Teaching Dreamweaver yesterday went surprisingly well and I was given the very nice complement that he learned more in the two hours spent with me than the $200 spent at lynda.com. He has already booked me for next week. I guess spending two months teaching myself Dreamweaver is really paying off.

Foxy's updates, errands, more work and a Kayaking Q&A at the hippy coffee shop up the street from us tonight.

Actually considering how hot and humid it is outdoors with one of the worst mosquito infestations in a long time maybe it is a good thing that I'll be stuck mostly indoors today.

So, this happened yesterday (please excuse the copy/paste from my Facebook page):

Since no one's contacted me about Father's Day, The Bitch & I decided to have people over here. I email my Dad with an invite, and he calls & leaves me this voice mail:
"Hi Mark, it's your father. Thanks for the invite, but we've already got plans for Father's Day, so you can just enjoy your day with your family."

Nice, huh? Still trying to wrap my head around that one |angry| |cry| |waves|

Nothing but work for me today, unless I decide to curl up in the fetal position in the corner of my bedroom & suck my thumb for a couple hours.

Plenty of heat, humidity and mosquitos here today too. Which is fine since I have no plans to step outside where any of that can get to me. Trash needs to go out for pickup tomorrow but that can wait until the sun goes down.

All the usual workday things to do but may knock off a little early to find out if some mindless tv watching could lead to a nap.

Seems like it is hot all over?

Hot here as well (by Norwegian standards) and I had a stroll around the nearby area for half an hour. Other than mostly catching up, which never seems to stop.

I actually started with a rant about 1:30,000+ ccbill ratios and some one please turn down the |shave| but erased it and went with the MML tribute because I miss him, thou probably not as much as you do :(

Woke up way too early to a stunningly gorgeous clear blue sky. I think Petri and I will go into town a bit later. Other than the usual catchup, submits, site work, there isn't a whole lot going on.

Other than being up early, it's nothing new.. just another day in paradise.
