So, who's following the British Open? |golf

True to form, everytime I watch Tiger, he shits the bed. Tee shot on 1st hole went way left into the fields (he bogeyed the hole)

Next time I looked up & saw him, his approach shot on the 3rd hole landed on the green & then trickled into one of those monster 2 foot high bunkers |lol| But, he was able to save par.

I see that hometown boy Rory shot a horrendous +7 or something like that.

And choke artist Phil shot -2, but missed a very easy putt on 18.

So who ya got?

Could be Phil's year to finish 2nd LOL... I like Phil after you said what he shot.

Others? Luke Donald maybe.

I really do love these type of courses - you can't tell where the greens stop & start and the fairway looks like someone was throwing sticks of dynamite randomly around :D

I see Tiger shot a 71 (par) to remain at -2. I was gonna say that Bubba Watson was looking pretty good, but he just bogeyed the 8th |scared| I also hope that ESPN puts up a clip on his approach shot on 6 (I think - might be 7th) It was a very cool looking punch shot hooking left to right that started out heading towards the fans on the left of the fairway |lol|

Choke Specialist Phil Mickelson had a double bogey already. Always fun to watch him implode :D

So no one besides Ramster & I have any interest in this?

I plan to watch tomorrow morning while doing some work, maybe Sunday morning too.

Tiger is hanging in there, maybe he'll pull it out. Though I think he puts too much pressure on himself now since he hasn't won a major in so long that is chokes.

Miguel Jimenez is leading now?! I'm sure he's a good golfer & all, but he has to have the worst hair on the tour! :D

Tiger's not only hanging in there, he's in 2nd! He's tied with Westwood, who's a Brit, so he's got that to contend with as well.

And I really do LOVE watching Angel Cabrera golf! He always looks like he's just having a ball - and how can you not like a guy that openly smokes on the course:

And how about Rory McIlroy missing the cut by 6 strokes!

Finally, our very own Scott Piercy had the high score for Friday with an 88 - OOOF! And he was +3 going into today, but a +17 is not gonna make too many cuts |lol|

I can shoot 88 NO PROBLEM, hell I shot 84 last weekend (I don't think the course I played is as hard as this one though LOL)
