Someone Has To Start The Morning Thread....

...and it might as well be me, so MORNING!! |waves|

(stolen from my Facebook status)
19 years ago today, I made a booty call on a Sunday evening after having a couple of 50¢ drafts at the local watering hole. Lucky for me, The Bitch said I could come over...and once I got there, I never left |smooch|

Not that we have any plans or anything - those things cost money! So I'll just be here working while she's out running her errands.

Happy booty call Green One. :)

I so don't feel like working today. Doesn't help that I was up late doing mainstream web work and then woken up at sunrise by a furry thing purring in my ear.

Just another fun filled day of tapping on little plastic key along with a trip to the pet store to pickup the Macaw seed that I didn't have to time to pickup yesterday.

To think the Bitch put up with you all these years, she must be a saint or in love with you or something ;)
Congrats!

Good Day :)
Did some digging this morning and now just working the rest of the day with multiple ice packs on my back.

Congrats Greenie, your wife is a fantastic woman.

Anyone know how to stop a bird from biting key off a keyboard?
Without hurting him.
I can't keep him in a cage, he's to socially attached.
I tried vinegar, didn't work.

Give him something else to chew on, like an old keyboard.

I'm trying that.
My desk looks like a fricken playground.
He seems to want what he cant have.

I have 3 macaws. I keep them in a very large aviary and often let them out to walk around the yard at the end of the day after I've finished my work and it's feeding time. I have to keep a stock of sprinkler heads because every time I'm not paying attention one of them will instantly rip the top off of a sprinkler head.

Those birds are beautiful. How old are they?
They don't fly away from your yard?

I have a Maroon belly conure. He'll be 1yrs next month.
He pretty much lives on and around my shoulders.
Loves his head and neck rubbed, and always rubs his cheeks on my stubble. It's funny never seen a bird that liked to be petted.

He is a little punk sometimes, and bites everything.
He knows what he's doing too. He's watch to make sure your not looking at him before he does something he knows he's not supposed to do.

One is about 30 years old and the other two are about 15 years old. They are all rescues after their owners died.

I keep their wings clipped but one did fly away a few years ago but came home after three days of hanging out at the top of the trees in our neighborhood.

I had a grey cheek for about 10 yrs, he was about 15-20 yrs before he passed.
I never knew what great pets/friends they were if you have the time to spend w/ them.
