It's Wednesday so 2 more days then the weekend, yah!

Just a normal day for me but looking forward to the weekend as I fly to Budapest on Saturday afternoon for a week, should be fun!

It's raining, again, just plain nasty outside. Looks like tonight's Meetup bike ride is going to get cancelled.

For no reason at all other than to vent my frustration with techs I posted this on FB this morning.
"We should be able to charge a consulting fee for advising techs what the issue is.

DirecTV came out yesterday to resolve the issue of not being able to receive our lower channels. When he got here I told him that last time this happened was due to water getting in the multiplex switch located outside. Spent a few hours aligning our dish. Replacing all the connectors and then finally when the issue wasn’t fixed he replaced the multiplex switch, problem solved.

Today I call DirecTV because I was only getting SD in the office. Told the woman that last tie this happened the receiver needed to be re-authorized to show HD. Naturally she had me play with all the settings on the DVR and then when that didn't fix it she tried to blame it on the TV and was going to send the tech back out. Finally after I bitched and insisted she finally sent out the signal to re-authorize the receiver which fixed the issue."

Here's to a day when the only tech needed is myself.

Doing my regular adult work and if I get done in time I'm installing two public WIFI access points in a restaurant and spa for their customers.

Raining here as well, the autumn has really hit us.
But I like it. Autumn in Norway is really beautiful!
Listening to some classic rock lists on Spotify, maybe I should grow up and start exploring the new stuff? Nah, I will never like Justin whateverHisName.

Lots of heavy rain here for the last few days, and more forecast for today and tomorrow at least. Then we may get a break for a couple of days, maybe the whole weekend.

Sometimes I get surprised by a strong emotional response that seems to come out of nowhere. The commercial below really got to me for some reason. If you haven't already seen this , maybe it'll have the same effect on you too.

Saw that commercial a few days ago and when it gets to the end it does cause a strong emotional response.

Yaaaawn, that was a long sleep. Hello peoples!

I'm doing some mainstream marketing these days but had a few adult ideas so I thought I would give them a go because the xxx road is paved with riches, you know. Got to do some setup stuff.

Simon, I saw that one last week and it is a great commercial. I was actually surprised it did not come from a so called American beer company.
