Anyone sign up for the Affordable CareAct program?

How do you feel about it? Good deal? Bad deal, Changed your mind?

I do not need it but checked out the steps. I feel bad for people who need it.

I already have insurance through a small company that I'm involved with but would like to get better insurance with much lower copays. Last year I tried to but couldn't because of preexisting conditions.

Now that insurance companies are no longer allowed to ask about preexisting conditions I would like to see what my options are but so far the servers have been too overloaded to use.

Fortunately I do not need it at this time but will probably be grateful for it later. Thou, I really wanted a system more like the UK's NHS which is why I am not overly fond of the ACA. At least it's a step towards something I hope will become much better over time.

Same here. I was interested in an NHS approach as well. When that got shelved almost immediately I had a feeling it would not be a good set up in the end. I am glad I do not have to opt in for anything either.

It can only get better. One thing I noticed that media is reporting on the down low is that medical/medicaid is ballooning in many areas. To me, and I could be wrong, but that means many are checking in and realizing they cannot afford any of the plans and opting in for the cheapest solution.

On a side note did anyone see the disability system issues on 60 Minutes tonight? Not shocked but makes me realize just how the US economy is on a wobbly crutch and won't take much to knock it out.

On a lighter note I will be planting rice in the spring.
