Wake The Fuck Up, It's Hump Day 20131009
 

Looking out my office window at a sky that is getting blacker by the minute. Just as well as if the weather is crappy Christy won't bitch about us missing tonight's paddle.

Leg seems to be a lot better. Went grocery shopping last night and only had moderate discomfort and its pulse is a lot stronger. On the not so good side I'm bleeding all over the place and feel really weak. Going to skip the rat poison today and go back on my normal dose tomorrow and then get my INR checked next week.

Created an account at healthcare.gov yesterday and now waiting for my ID to be verified. Other than being a bit annoyed at having to fill in the same info a bunch of times it went pretty smoothly.

Looking forward to seeing what my heath care plan options are and hoping that I can find a affordable plan that has deductibles that aren't insane, unlike the plan that my employer has me on.

Very happy that I didn't have to reveal any preexisting. In the past when I tried to get better insurance I was always declined due to preexisting.

Making tomato soup again today. The kind that takes over an hour to make and doesn't involve a can opener.

Didn't get all my work done yesterday due to a crazed tranny showing up at my door unexpectedly. Seems PamelaDoll gave what is now her ex boyfriend all her personal data and passwords and now he has stolen her identity, wiped out her bank account, turned off her phone, electric and pretty much everything that he was able to. Helped her get her brand new iPhone 5c turned back on and Christy and I basically told her that she is going to have to call the police to fix the rest. This is like the third or forth time this has happened to her. Some people just never learn.

Since I'm behind in work I've hired a new employee to assist me. Iggy works for low pay but does get his own office chair.

Good morning

Wife has a friend in town for a few days visiting so I likely won't see her much, lol. They're heading downtown Montreal today to Old Montreal for the afternoon. For me, just another day though I Really Need to sit down tonight at the computer and get some work done on my personal stuff.

Been building sites all morning & almost forgot to stop in here! I have to go to the chiropractor this afternoon & get adjusted, as well as pick up a note from him for my regular doctor about how my new back pain is not really getting any better. I can't wait to schedule that MRI!

Day two without a hack on my clients' sites. I guess being up to date with PHP and MySQL really does matter. [What a moron I can be.]

Took my car in for service as the headlights on my SmartCar were both out. It was just the lights and nothing more. The service advisor installed them for free after I bought a pair of new ones at the parts department. |headbang|

I then drove into the drive through at Tim Hortons (Cafe & Bake Shop for you Americans) and noticed the guy in front of me had overshot the order window and reversed back a few feet. He hadn't put the car back into gear as he spoke to the box. So I am anxiously waiting to see if he's going to back into me. It turned out, he goes a foot backwards and then slams on the breaks. No harm, no fowl. Whew!

So I am off to take my daughter to school. It's her second try at Grade 12. Actually, she is very bright and doing well at her new school. I am going to try and get some work down this afternoon before heading off to my ham radio class.

Back from a 4 day vacation. Weather was great and had a real good time.

Was home yesterday but decided to finish putting the yard back together. Cut out the last of the roots, put back the cement slabs that were cut out, leveled out walkway area which was a bitch and then filled in the trench that was still open around those areas. Needless to say I have been hurting big time since I finished that yesterday afternoon. Still need to patch the cracks from the cuts but that will need to wait till I stop hurting, so probably next week.

Time for a bunch of catching up while I sit here with ice and heat.

No offline work today but my 2 sons were at home today so I had my hands full entertaining them. Didn't get any other work done. Where can I hire one of these Iggy's?
