Its a Percocet and red wine start of the day
 

Not really the most productive way to start the day but over the last few weeks I've gone from not being able to walk from one side of the house to the other side to being able to walk briskly all over the house with just a bit of discomfort.

On the not so great news Christy is now sick with my chest cold.

Going to try to walk around the block after I get Foxy's updates live and then tonight going to the grocery store and going to try to walk all the aisles.

Hoped to get some bike riding in this weekend since that is an activity that allows my to coast and rest my leg but now just as I'm getting over my cold Christy is getting really sick as I guess I'll be the limping gimp nurse this weekend, kinky. :D

No Perocet here. Wine maybe but not until happy hour. "It's five o'clock somewhere," my Dad used to say.

Good morning. Used the Linux command wget to download my client's Joomla site over night. Though I am a Linux desktop user, I don't use the terminal often. I was impressed! Now it's time to cut and paste into the current version hosted on an up-to-date server. It's a marathon and it starts now!

Out late last night, not hung over, but tired. Working and waiting for the day to end lol

Working on a few member areas that will take up the rest of the day. Going to watch a movie with the wife tonight and that is the whole day in a nutshell.

Did some early morning work then took a ride with the top open on the Jeep since I removed most of the hair from my head yesterday and definitely needed to get some sun on it if I don't want to look all chemo patient.

Got home from the ride and my neighbor and his girlfriend invite me to come hang out on their upstairs patio and have a Corona with them while enjoying the nice ocean breeze we're getting today. So a couple of cold ones later I'm back here, having a tasty smoked ham and swiss cheese sandwich while figuring out what still needs to be done today before I can say fuck it and hit the couch for some well-deserved relaxation time after such an exhausting day.

Morning... So been busy with the new baby. I'm tired and just between trying to stay on top of work it's been tough to even write over here. I've surfed here at night on my phone just haven't had a moment to really post. My lady gave birth on the 5th. It's been a wild ride. I've slept I think maybe 2-3 hours a night. Good stuff though. It's been a long time coming.

Today I'm just working on a couple small mainstream projects and then I'll be working on putting together some xml schema for another programming project. The old database will be spit out in that format and then I can take it and use it to import things into the new site that I've built. Also working on figuring out some phone system stuff with twilio.com for handling phones numbers and writing scripts based on using their api.

Well, I am into my third glass of some Italian Red Wine and it is quite good.
Lazy day for the most, but have done some work.
It's started to be cold now and we're expecting snow soon.
Brrrrr. (And I who used to love winters..... :( )

I really wish I liked wine but I don't like any alcoholic beverage, the taste or effects, and think wine tastes like grape juice gone bad.
