Twas The Last Saturday Of October...

Morning! |waves|

For some reason, I've been in a GREAT mood! It just sorta |jackinthe yesterday afternoon & I still have it today |thumb Of course all this really means is that I'll be in a good mood while I work all day :D

The Bitch does have some tasks for us to accomplish this afternoon, like put in the windows in the screen doors, shave the clumps of knotted hair off the cat, put away the patio table & chairs, etc.

I'll be around for the most part...as if anyone would need me |fonz|

Hi there

Hope your mood stays on top Greenguy |thumb.

I'm not sure I have a mood, just exhausted after emptying the basement for shit and stuff. my back hurts, but at least I'm ready for the Moving Truck coming tomorrow.

Nice weather too, maybe I should just go outside and do nothing for 10minutes. therapy......

Cleo 2013-10-26 08:31 AM

Up way too late helping a friend recover and setup stuff after her ex boyfriend took her computer and changed every password on everything. |banghead|

Drinking my green tea and other healthy stuff (I miss my big pot of espresso) as I get ready to hit the gym.

Today is going to be a house cleaning day so probably won't get any work done. Also need to get all our kayaking gear together for tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are leading a beginner's group though the mangroves. We are going to use our Malibu Pro 2 Tandem that paddles like a brick so they should have no problem keeping up with us. It's going to be the first time I'm kayaking since my leg messed up again but the leg is feeling really good so hopefully it will be a much needed relaxing day.

Good Day :)
Nice to hear Greenie is in a good mood and Cleo can get back to kayaking.

Got a few windows re-screened yesterday and only a dozen more to go plus a screen door. The rest can wait till after Halloween plus I will remove the screen door for Halloween since I had it open the whole time anyway last year and re-screen it then.

Family is coming over today instead of the usual Sunday and then the World Series is on later as well. Do a little bit of work before they show up and I think I'm going to take the rest of the weekend off from biz and do something with the wife tomorrow :D

Good afternoon

just doing a little work today and nothing more planned otherwise.

I spent most of today playing "Settlers" on my old '98 box (it is 7pm here now) but now I have to get on with some work, so I've switched off the '98 box, switched on my main box and am ummm.... posting here as a delaying tactic against actually starting any real work.

The guy in the apartment next to mine appears to have spent all Saturday the way he spends most evenings: Smoking pot and chasing the dragon. He is now sitting in the hall singing the same two lines of "Your Beautiful" over and over again. (Sigh)

Now you are making me feel like a traitor. I first started playing Settlers on the Amiga, And I still prefer the Amiga to the PC. Yet I sat here all day playing it on my old PC.

It is not as though I don't still own an Amiga, in fact I own about a dozen in various guises (A1500, A1200, A600, and A500) several of each (except the A1500, only got one of those). I'm stockpiling them against not being able to get spare parts when they break down.

Yet still I played the game on the '98 PC - What an asshole!

And my bloody neighbour is still singing!

Good afternoon.

No plans to get my Timex Sinclair 1000 out of the basement. I plan to do a little work before dinner and watching the World Series with some friends tonight. Who knows, a Euchre game may break out.

Have a great day! |thumb

Why not? It is worth a bit nowadays.

(Oh and I also have two of those, well the Pal (UK) version. I've also got at least one of each of Sinclair's later models. What was that Simon said the other day about Dinosaurs?)

Perhaps I didn't mean he was singing the song called "You're Beautiful", perhaps I meant he was singing something like "Your beautiful smile keeps me coming back to you"! |escape|
