Twas The Last Mon...WE GET IT!!

Morning! |waves|

As you probably assumed by my absence from the board yesterday, I pretty much took the day off from working online. That's not to say that my day wasn't jam packed with adventure! We took my niece & her man out to lunch at Pizza Hut for their |happybirt's and then we took my Mom over to Lowe's so that she could get us our Xmas present early: A Self-Propelled Snow Blower |snowman2|bigfuckin

Today consists of work, a visit to the chiropractor, reading the manual for & firing up the snowblower |snowman||bigfuckin, then more work. Hopefully I can slide in some GTAV time somewhere :D

In conclusion, |fonz| your day!

PS - Did I mention that we got a new snowblower?? |santa||bigfuckin

NICE! Are you a fan of the Seattle Seahawks of the St Louis Rams?

hincapie 2013-10-28 08:54 AM

It was a tight choice between the Washington Wankers and the Houston Hemorrhoids .... but I decided to stick to a real sport |jester|

Good morning. My wife has a cold and was hacking and coughing last night. That relegated me to the crappy spare bed so my back is hurting this morning. |angry|

Lunch with my brother and exercise with work in between are the orders of the day for me.

I think I'll get an Advil now.

Have a good one! |thumb

I'm under "lock down" here. I just tried to get a train out and found that I can go no more than four stations along. There was a major storm last night and all the lines are blocked with fallen trees.

I didn't realise that you blew snowmen? Doesn't that give you a cold mouth?

No Snow Blower here or any kind of blowing going on today. :D

Actually we have all our windows open enjoying Florida's other season.

Besides doing kayaking yesterday I did so much walking that both my legs are so.Walking up and down four flights of stairs at the Anne Kolb observation tower for a group shot and then walking all the aisles of the supermarket plus carrying our huge tandem kayak was good for my bad leg but now I've got both of them sore. lol

Just a day of work planned for today. |potleaf|

Good morning!

It's Monday so back to work, back to everything. Nothing new going on here, just another day!

jollyhumper 2013-10-28 10:42 AM

Last day in this house, so only moving today.
It takes the ISP-company two weeks to move my internet-line 2km so you won't probably see me for a week or so.
You won't miss me anyway, but I promise I will try to miss you guys.|smooch|

Jolly

Good Day :)
"A Self-Propelled Snow Blower" Hate to say it but when I read this I pictured an irobot type snowblower (like their roomba) that goes back and forth throwing snow everywhere while you sit in the house watching it. Then I envisioned a |snowman2 on top of it riding around the driveway like when cats get on a moving roomba. I crack myself up sometimes |lol|

Work, work and then some more work on the agenda.

Good morning world |waves|

Cleo's right about our other season. All the windows are open to enjoy the nice little breeze and cooler temps we're getting now. Just finished some building and submitting while Life of Pi was playing from the dvr in the background.

Robert - I did think about cat riding on the roomba-style snow blower.

Also remembered those wilder times back in the 80s when a "snow blower" was our term for the club girls who'd give you head if you turned them on to some good coke. And self-propelled just meant they came in their own car.

Okay, back to work.

:)

A self-propelled snowblower...GREAT now the Bitch can clean the pathways :)

The eighties... ATM was just a device that men went to in order to get more money for the coke.

I'll have you know that our |snowman2 smiley is NOT gender specific, so far all you know, they could be a SnowSheMan :D

Watch out making claims like that. A bit over 20 years ago the Controller of BBC1 (one of our 5 main TV channels) decided that snowmen were a sexist idea. He demanded his graphics department produce a Christmas logo with "non gender specific snowpeople". At the time he was blasted in the press for wasting BBC money (the BBC is paid for by a public licence). Over twenty years later the "non gender specific snowpeople" are still mentioned on satire shows, and he is still being laughed at for it.

I bet that, if it was proposed by someone in this day & age, without him doing it 20 years ago, it would be taken VERY seriously by all the politically correct buffoons that have some sort of "power".

Here are some of those politically correct buffons...

http://www.aei-ideas.org/wp-content/.../04/frosty.png

‘Frosty the Snowman’ now banned in Washington state, replaced with gender-neutral ‘Frosty the Snowfriend’

Britain is a more "atheistic" society than the USA. Not only do we tend to either disbelieve in the Big Guy in the sky (or at least disrespect Him), we also tend to disbelieve people in authority and people who are politically correct. Sure, there are plenty of "loud" people who are likely to come up with a similar politically correct bit of nonsense, but they will be torn apart in the press for it and laughed at in TV comedy shows for ages afterwards.
