Twas The Morning Before Election Day...

Tomorrow is Election Day here in this great county... errr... country of ours, so I guess I should really read up on who I'm going to vote for. The only person I know is Bert Dunn, who's running ad after ad after ad on the local TV shows as he runs for country... errr... county sheriff. He's annoying, but he does have a great sheriff kinda name :D

Today, however, it NOT Election Day, so I doubt I'll be leaving the house.

I spent the last 5 minutes trying to figure out why we haven't gotten our vote by mail ballots and found this, "A General Election is held in November of every even-numbered year."

So no voting for me today or tomorrow since this is an odd year.

Just a day of work planned with a sight chance of doing the house cleaning that we were supposed to do yesterday but instead spent a good part of the day getting two new iPhone 5s 32 gig phones, cases and screen protectors. Apple gave use $112 for each of our old original iPhone 4 phones which was probably close to what we would have ended up getting by selling them on eBay after eBay took their fees and we paid for shipping.

I need a vacation...

No elections or iPhones here. Just a day of work, reading and reflection. I think tonight I will learn about Windows and Apple shares as I configure my home server.

Ehhhh I wish we had sheriff elections with cowboy style duels in the runoffs ...

Internet problems here today, someone snapped the power supply to the main box of interwebs it appears ... so, not much getting done.

Morning. Just lots of work on the horizon. Blah. So much to do so little time. I'm about to hit a decent milestone with some stuff. Exciting yet scary at the same time as it gets ready to go live.

Had a pretty decent week. Chargers fucking shit the bed on the 1st yard line. Fucking hell. Seriously you have a time out left. Try for another run. |banghead|

Other than that it was pretty relaxing.

1. When I saw that he was an Independent or Right To Life or whatever kooky Party his candidacy is affiliated with, I realized that he must've lost in the primaries & is now just flooding our airwaves with commercials he's paying for out-of-pocket :D

B. What channels of ours do you get up there? Any in HD? We get CBC & CTV via the cable company, and I can pick up CBC in HD with my antenna |thumb

My son went to school for the first time today. He looked damn cute with his school bag :)
Other than that it will be ,othing but offline work for me this week, I'll try to do some online stuff in the few spare moments that I got after the little ones went to bed.

Fonz - before I forget for the 38th time, is GTAV out over there and, if so, are you playing it?

I think it lauched on the same date worldwide so it's out over here too. And I'm not yet playing it. I'm still too busy playing Far Cry 3 and Skyrim. A few other games that I have laying around and will probably get my attention before GTAV does are Assasins Creed III and Batman: Arkham City (gotta love that $50/year Playstation Plus account where you get a couple of AAA games for "free" every month :) ).

What about that Battlefield 4 that I see so many commercials about? And then there's the new Call Of Duty: Ghosts that's coming out pretty soon. You into either of those?

I just want to know how long it is until I can talk about GTAV with you :D

We get all the Buffalo affiliates of the major U.S. networks NBC, CBS, ABC & FOX on our basic cable. If you get the premium package, like me, you also get CW and MyTV.

Never played COD or Battlefield. Not my cup of tea I guess.
The holiday season is coming so maybe GTAV will find it's way to my house then :)
