It's a scheduled Hiatus Day for me |bananna| Just checking in here, then to the couch I go to play GTAV... err.... rest my back :D I do have a doctor's appt this afternoon where I should get some more info on my latest MRI. Then back to the couch |fonz|

Didn't we just do Hump Day a week ago?

Got up at 4:30 to go to the gym with Christy. I'm down to just a third of a pain pill and up to 18 minutes on the recomadent bicycle. Will probably try doing the treadmill next time. I'll consider myself well when I can do 25 minutes on the treadmill again. Also started using Nike+ Move to track my progress each day.

Should get the results of my blood work later today. Got a flu shot while I was there. I'm amazed at how many people don't get them. The nurse that gave me the shot said that she doesn't get them as she doesn't like needles.

Just a day of work planed for today with a strong possibility of a nap this afternoon.

Good morning.

First, I need to work a bit before taking my daughter to school. Then I have to drive downtown and do a couple of chores (City Hall, eye doctor) before heading uptown to pick up my daughter. Then it's back to work.

My wife comes home late from NYC tonight so I can work late again if I want.

When I was in the hospital a few years ago all the health care workers that refused a flu shot had to wear face masks. I was amazed at how many didn't get a flu shot. I've had the flu. Once was enough to persuade me to do anything and everything possible to avoid ever getting it again. I just don't understand not getting one. Especially when it's free.

Really like that house Cleo thou I would hate to be there during really bad weather, kinda stuck if you wait to long to leave.

I have not had a flu shot in 20+ years because the last time (and only time) I had one I actually needed to use sick days because I was constantly sick in bed instead of using them for long weekends, random days off and other sorts of fun :D

Bunch of work on the agenda and that's about it.

I thought they were Scots, not Irish? Is he of very mixed race, or is this another example of American geography at work?

I have no idea. I just know he has red hair and that skin that would instantly get sunburned in the Florida sun.

Actually all I know is all of you from that part of the world really could use some tan on your pale ass skin.

Other than that all is good here. Just bought myself a little amp for my electric guitar so I can now terrorize everyone who wants to relax in the living room.

I also no longer have any paid submitter accounts. Just was no longer profitable. Maybe TGPs will have to return to just listed quality galleries instead of paid submitter crap.

I heard a doctor talk about those that don't get them because they say it gives them the flu. He said the odds of anyone getting the flu in the next week is pretty much 1:10, regardless if they got the flu shot or not. And there's no convincing that 1 that they didn't get it from the shot.

I'm a bit of everything that's good about Great Britain: Scottish, Irish, and Welsh :D

So in that same order it makes you :- a tight arse, alcoholic, and short.

And I quite agree, the English are just not worth a mention!|couch|
