Windy Rainy Sunday (2013.11.10)

Good morning |sun

It's windy and rainy here today. The type of day that chills you to the bone.

I am working on my TGP which is coming together. I have to do some set up on hard link category trades in Links Organizer and the accompanying script insertion on the pages, a category receipts table and then continue to populate the database with my sponsor galleries. After that I have to test it. Not all of this will get done today but perhaps a little.

Have a great day! |thumb

It's A Sleet Kinda Sunday!

Morning! |waves|

Well, the firewood cutting didn't happen yesterday |bananna| The Bitch & I had some running around to do 1st, and the last stop was Arby's. This was a bad decision because, once we got home & ate, both of us became extremely |zzzzzzzzz After our naps, well, neither of us was very motivated to do anything :D

We had planned on doing the firewood today, but there is sleet in the forecast, so fuck that! She decided to go to a crafts show, and I'm gonna work, do some paperwork, and watch a lot of football |fonz|

You know, I was up about 8am today, my time - that is between midnight and 3am your time, depending on which state you live in. So I could ALWAYS beat you to creating the morning thread. And if you two don't stop squabbling, I will do so. That will teach you to get along together in the playroom. :)

No firewood here but like Greenie we got distracted by running errands and never got around to installing the kayak hatch so first thing on today's to do list is installing a kayak hatch.

Besides hatch installing it's a house cleaning day.

Watched the documentary Pandora's Promise last night. When I asked a few people that I know what they thought about nuclear power one asked if that meant burning coal and another said that they really didn't know what it was but thought it had something to do with cold fusion.|banghead|

I guess this really is the human race's future.

So they know the term "cold fusion", but not what nuclear power is? |banghead|

Oddly the fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5s doesn't work when you have Gorilla Glue dried on your fingers.

Hatch is in. Now I just have to figure out how to get all this glue off of my fingers.

Well...if there are any lipstick lesbians around, you can borrow some nail polish remover. :D The acetone will get it off.

Otherwise you can soak your hands in warm soapy water for a while to dissolve the bond. Takes longer but won't dry out your skin as much.

HTH

:)

Good Day :)
Doing some work before family shows and the 49ers is on tv. That is all :D

Well I do wear lipstick and toenail polish so I do have acetone but it doesn't remove Gorilla Glue. Sand paper and lava soap seems to work about the best. One of these days I'll remember to put gloves on before doing stuff like this.

Pics of installing the kayak hatch in case anyone is really bored.

No sleet or gorilla glued fingers here.
I did fire up the fireplace around 11am this morning (we slept in today after a party, kids where at the grandparents) and the fire has been burning for 10 hours now. A bunch of firewood has passed through our livingroom already :)

Other than that I did absolutely nothing useful today.

I'm cooking dinner. Is it cheating when you make a vegetarian soya dish but use meat stock instead of vegetable stock, to improve the flavour a bit?

How do you make a chicken?

hincapie 2013-11-11 03:33 AM

Such information is way above our paygrade ... like mechanics, never try to grasp the gibberish, just be happy the car drives.
