Welcome To The Wonderful Day Of The Week We Call Wednesday!

Morning! |waves|

The Bitch is off today, which usually means we have a lot of errands & appointments, but not today! Today, she has chores for me |banghead|

So, I'll be working until she forces me to get off my fat ass & help around the house |fonz|

Up at 4:30 am to go to the gym with Christy at 6am. She sleeps in until 5:30 but I need more time to wake up my old ass, the rest of me too. Did the gym without pain meds for the first time in months. |bananna|

We are having the kind of weather that I live on this big sandbar for. Love having all our windows open enjoying the fresh ocean a

Good morning. |sun

I have to run downtown for an errand today. I will likely stop in at my brother's for a cup of tea before heading home.

Later, I will spend more time today on my TGPX template. I am making head way on it but it's still not giving me the result I want.

Have a great day! |thumb

Isn’t this ironic... just as my leg is finally recovering Christy has messed up her knee. Doctor looked at it yesterday and said that she probably has a torn ligament. Took a Xray, told her to wrap it, no running etc. and to come back in a few weeks. So now just as I'm starting to be able to walk again she is limping around. |banghead|

Nice and sunny here ... but my mouth still hurts from the dentist appointment yesterday, grump grump.

Good morning. LOVE the Pinkman bitch rants LOL

Nothing big planned here today, just another day in the neighborhood. Oh and it's fucking cold out! I hate it here in Canada, need to move to the south!

YIKES!

|pray| it's not the ACL or MCL - recovery time for either of those is about 12 months :(

I've been through knee hell a few decades ago. One knee has had surgery and the other I just did physical therapy. Both are about the same now, actually the one that I refused surgery on is a bit better. I've been trying to get Christy to comprehend how close she is to being in knee hell but didn't believe me. I think the doctor yesterday finally got through to her though. I think know she understands now why I don't do the elliptical machine, don't run, and stopped playing racquet ball.

Good Day :)
Nice to hear Cleo is doing better and then bad to hear Christy is not.

Nothing but more work as usual on the agenda. Need to do a lot more work on the house but I think I will put it all off until after Thanksgiving ;)

Wow, Cockney (London) slang. You know that if you have any relatives still living in Scotland, they will stone you to death for treason for using the language of the enemy! :)

Greenguy 2013-11-14 10:44 AM

Apparently not.

ecchi 2013-11-14 01:50 PM

Minor medical emergency this morning, due to the change in my meds. But I'll do it tomorrow if you like (assuming these fucking meds don't kill me before morning).

Greenguy 2013-11-14 04:55 PM

A problem with your meds?! You couldn't come up with a better excuse?! So you steal one of mine?!

OK, if it will make you happy I'll reword that post:

I have several problems, one is going to send me blind, the other may kill me. Unfortunately one of the meds that slows down the speed that my eyes are decaying is hastening the one that may kill me. So my doctor told me to stop taking them. I did, and that morning did a blood test that showed dropping the meds had been disastrous in the eye department, and my BSL was over three times the safe maximum. This meant I had to do three things:

1) Frantically guess how big an injection I needed to inject to correct this, and take the injection.
2) Worry about how much damage had already been done.
3) Realise that this is a "stopgap" solution, I can't do it every day, so I will have to decide which I fear most, blindness or death, and medicate accordingly.

And that is why I didn't get round to starting the thread yesterday!
