Oddly sore from yesterday's paddle and BBQ. We only did 4.7 miles in our tandem with a really slow beginner’s group before doing a BBQ with them, good times. :)

I would like to report that the Saskatchewan Roughriders beat the Hamilton Tiger Cats 45-23 to win the 101st Grey Cup but I am sure you all know that.

Just the usual work planned. Later I am meeting my wife and a friend to see the David Bowie exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario before it closes on Wednesday.

It is quite chilly here this morning so I had to turn up the heat in the house.

Trying to do some work between getting the house all ready for guests and the errands I have to run.

I agreed to house sit for an old schoolfriend, and look after his dog and cats, from tomorrow. Just been round to meet the dog (the cats I already know, the dog is new). I think someone has conned him. I don't think it is a dog, looks more like a rat that has been fed on steroids!

Always so sad when one of our pets die :(

Sorry, didn't realise you were talking about one of your pets. I thought (because of the picture) you were talking about an episode of Family Guy that I hadn't seen yet.

I've never watched Family Guy so maybe Meat's pet didn't die.

I'd say his post was cryptic at best.

TV in the den, bedroom and office. Office TV is often on a news channel whilst working with closed captioning on and music playing from my computer using iTunes.

Babylon5, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Dexter, House of Cards, Orange Is The New Black, True Blood, Homeland, Masters of Sex, Shameless, plus movies all the time via Netflix and lots of Science Channel and History Channel.
