Just got back from taking one of our cars for "major service" -- 65,000 km / 40,000 mi. Looks like it will be a $1,000. Yikes!

Still working on a couple of small mainstream things as I was busy doing other stuff yesterday. I really want to get back on the more interesting adult stuff ASAP.

Snow is coming here today (10cm / 4in) but I suspect, as usual, the weather people will be over selling it. Jesus Christ, it's Canada in the winter. What should I suspect? Sunny and hot?

Woke up way too early and then could not get back to sleep because I was thinking of all the crap that needs to be done before people show up. So I got up did some work and can feel a nap or two will be mixed in with all the other crap I have to do.
