If you missed my (very late in the day) post yesterday, my Hiatus Monday turned into Cold & Flu Tuesday |flush| After medicating myself for the last 36 hours or so with various meds (mostly homeopathic |thumb) and sleeping (a lot) under a mountain of blankets to assist in "sweating it out", I do feel a lot better today. I'm not exactly |bananna| but I'll take this over |barf|

It snowed here last night |snowman2 I'm going to take some pics because the trees look AMAZING since it was basically a windless snowfall |snowman|

And, I have to actually leave the house today for my biannual cleaning at the dentist :D

Waking up to a very wet morning. Woken up a bunch of times by lightning, thunder, wind and lots of rain. Good day to stay indoors and work although I do need to go to the grocery store to pickup a few things before everything is closed for dead bird day.

Yesterday was a mess. Christy got covered in some kind of itchy rash from head to toe. We are guessing that she brushed against some kind of plant when we were kayaking in the mangroves Sunday. She went to our doctor and got a Benadryl and cortisone shot and then had a really bad extrapyramidal reaction so the office called me to come get her. Poor thing couldn't stand up and was trembling like she had parkinson's disease. After about an hour they let me take her home and then late last night we went back to pickup her car. She seems fine today, rash is gone but is still a bit itchy.

I am having a hard time moving today -- tired I guess. I have to get on the elliptical though to earn my pint of beer tonight so I guess I will drag my ass away from the computer for 1/2 an hour.

Other than that it's a regular day. My nut bar |crazy| daughter played hooky from school yesterday but is back this morning. Yeah, whatever -- I passed grade 12 and then some.
