So, how was your Turkey Day? Mine was full of football & working, oddly enough. The Bitch had control of the main TV, so I had to watch football in my office, so why not work while I'm at it :)

No shopping for anyone here - fuck that shit of waiting in line outside, then fighting with the unwashed masses to save $6 off a BluRay player! The Bitch has to work today, so I guess I'll be doing more of the same...with maybe a small break to play GTAV |fonz|

It's time to shit out Thanksgiving. :D

Been up since 4:30 so that I could go to the gym with Christy but we didn't make it as she is still too drowsy from Benadryl so I'm going by myself when she goes to work. I'm guessing she we be back home in bed after she finishes her home schooling gig this morning.

Ate very little food yesterday but still got a tummy ache from Christy's mom's cooking. Don't think watching her and her mom performing a necropsy on a dead roasted bird helped at all.

Just one day left of hurricane season. Not even one storm warning this year.

No shopping here. Just a day of work planned after the gym.

Retailers in Canada have discovered that they can sell more crap with Black Friday sales. I don't like this new development and, like Greenie, I will not be found anywhere near a store today.

My Mastercard bill (for business purchases) came in a number of days ago so that's my sign to invoice my clients which I am glad to say I can do this month. Yeah, a little bit of money!

I also have a new client who wants a simple 3 page website. He's a Luddite when it comes to computers. I was going to make him an HTML site but my skills in that regard are rusty. I think I will build the site using Wordpress if I can get it to auto update itself. I will have to do a bit research on that.

I had a good day, with a huge amount of food cooked and served by a neighbor/friend and his girlfriend to their extended family and friends. The appetizers/dinner/desserts/drinks event was on their roof, where they recently constructed a new tiki bar area. No TV at all, just lots of great food (including excellent deep fried turkey and honey baked ham), half a dozen different desserts, and good conversations for about six hours (somewhat inspired by consecutive rounds of a roulette wheel based drinking game that involved tequila jello shots). Then just walked home and napped until it was time to go to sleep.

Today is work, some banking/bill paying, then another friend is having her first annual "day after Thanksgiving" dinner party. I'm thinking that after that I may need to skip a few meals this weekend.

No shopping and any of that crap, just another day in the office working away. Tonight I plan to get working on some of my own stuff for the most part.
