Question About Toplist
 

Hi All - I've just setup a toplist (no this is not spam, bear with me) and I've listed it on some of the more select boards (like this one |waves| ) in the appropriate area.

My question is this. I obviously want to make as many Webmasters aware of it as possible. To that end I was thinking of sending an email to Webmasters within my niche and just letting them know that the list was there and leave it at that.

Would this be considered spamming or bad etiquet?

I wanted to ask you before I did it as I've already made a couple of innocent fuckups so I don't want to go for a third. You know the way it works, 'Three strikes and your out!'.

That really all depends on where you got the email list from :D

If it's a list that you got from your own admins or sites, then I'd say yes, go nuts - just tell them why they're getting it.

The best way - post messages on forums and boards and in your sig people can see promotion of your TOP :)
