Good morning, here's hoping you get humped today and not jumped. :D

Nothing brewing here, just another boring day at work.

Been up for no real reason at all since 6am.

Just a day of work planned along with grocery shopping this evening.

Yesterday he sent Mickey Havens over to me so that I could do an ad for next week's SFGN with only three hours before the deadline. Mickey and I sat down and I do a really nice ad for him along with mentioning that the restaurant has a new chef with an all new menu along with $8 Grey Goose and free valet parking, plus location, phone number address and everything else that can be fit in a 4x5 ad. Sent it to Lou (the restaurant owner) and I get a call from him saying that he didn't want the ad to be about Mickey. |banghead| He tells me to make the part about Mickey really tiny and to put food pics in the ad. So I do what he asked and send it to him again for approval. Now I've got less than twenty minutes before the print deadline. He calls me back and asked me why I'm using stock photos. He doesn't like the photos so tells me to remove them so I do and send it to him again for approval. He calls me back and says that people no longer know how to read so I need to drive over to the restaurant and take pics of the food, food that hasn't even been cooked yet. I explain that we have less then ten minutes before the deadline so he decides to just not advertise at all. |banghead|

On the plus side I'm still billing him for 3 hours.

@Cleo At least he is a client and not a full-time boss. Imagine the poor souls who have to show up and work for him every day!

I almost put a few invoices in the mail before realizing that I forgot to include a few hundred dollars of expenses. So, I spent some of the morning fixing them.

Oh yeah, got my NAS box up and running. I already have my photos and some music on the box (with all of it backing up to a cloud service I subscribe to).

I think it's back on to adult now as I just have a bit of clean up to do on a small main stream job I have.

Now need to walk the dog... cold outside... :(

Our big storm fizzled, so now I have some time to work on stuff. Clean-up mainly... a few small sites to build. Tons of mainstream stuff just waiting for my attention. Guess that means I need to get off of here and back to work.. sigh..
