It's The 351st Day Of The Year!

Morning! |waves|

I think my funk may have subsided, as I worked all day yesterday & actually got a few things done |thumb I also managed to bathe myself :D

I'm actually looking forward to more of the same today, followed by a little GTAV with The Bitch tonight |fonz|

Hospital appointment today, plus still catching up on the less urgent stuff from when I was offline.

Cleo 2013-12-17 07:32 AM

No funk, I've bathed (shower actually) and no hospitals.

Up at 4:30 to go to the gym with Christy. I feel a nap in my future.

Just another day of food and people porn along with doing ads for dumb shit like paying a lot of money to have hot rocks put on your back and your twat waxed.

Good morning world |waves|

Trying to talk myself into a shower, shave and trip to the bank and food store. On the other hand, my bank just started accepting deposits by phone/pic. And it's 2-for-1 day at the local pizzeria, plus they deliver. So I'll be debating this for a while.

@Cleo - You should do a version of the ad where they get their back waxed and have hot rocks put on their twat. Might be a whole 'nother customer group out there.

Time for more coffee, cinnamon raisin bagel and more work.

Wishing a good day to all.

:)

BofA starting doing this sometime ago. It sure beats having to drive to the bank. Between cash back when buying something with my debit card and using my phone to make deposits I never go to the back anymore.

@Cleo I'll I can say is 4:30am? Fucking fuck!

Good morning. |coffee

I don't hate this time of year. In fact, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. None-the-less, it's just too fucking busy. Between being almost sick and having to shop and such, I feel worn out by 7pm.

Anyhow, I have the rest of the morning to get my stuff done so I'd better get crackin!

Have a good one! |thumb

Good Day :)

Gotta do catch up work and run a couple of errands. Going to be around 80F again today according to the news so at least it won't be chilly during my errands.

Damn microwaves that break down after 10+ years of service!

Addendum: Damn microwave stopped working. I mostly only use it to warm a plate or a mug of coffee I let get cool. I'm sure there are plenty of low end models to choose from online (we don't have that kind of store within islands of here), but I thought I'd ask if anyone has a recommendation for a cheap replacement?

Inquiring (or too lazy to start the search yet) minds want to know.

:)

We recently got a Phillips microwave. It seems to work okay. Don't buy a GE. IMHO, GE is crap.

How the fuck do you deposit money by 'phone? I can understand paying bills and transferring money already in the bank by phone, but depositing by phone, how does that work?

You open the bank's app on your phone. It has you take a picture of the front and back of the check and asks which account to deposit it to. They ask you to hold onto the check for two weeks in case there is a issue but I've never had one.

Oh checks, I thought you meant cash. That would not be much use over here very few people use checks anymore in England, we tend to use debit cards instead.

And for that I have a card reader for my iPhone.

But I still get about a dozen checks a month from places like CCBill and a few other sponsors. It's nice not having to drive over to use an ATM.

Yeah I get checks from US sponsors. I tend not to think of them as checks, because American checks have to go through a special account for special processing. But it is years since I last wrote or received a British check. We tend to use cards, direct transfers, or PayPal (mostly cards). The newest thing seems to be app to app transfers (i.e. if you owe a friend or a tradesman money you can send it from your 'phone to their 'phone) however I'd have to upgrade my 'phone to do that (to Android or Apple) and it would not be worth it unless the US sponsors started paying that way.

I just realised that it is so long since I dealt with a non US check that I have been automatically using the American word (check) rather than the English word (cheque).
